Top notch will county Attorney!

I hired Amy to pick up the pieces of my divorce and to represent me for my college age daughter‘s college expenses Illinois support laws can be very difficult to understand if you’re not an expert we soon found out after going to court a few times that we hired the right person Amy was always prepare...d very well-versed and knowledgeable of the laws that would pertain to my case I always thought Amy was very well measured and out in front of any situation that may arise she is very sharp my wife and I got to know Amy a little bit over the five years we required her services And got to know a working mother that was able to keep many plates spinning at the same time and make it look easy I found out at the end of our case that the judge And Family Court would be retiring and I thought Amy would be perfect for that job because she’s compassionate and understanding of both sides of Family Court situations that can be very difficult if you’re looking for this kind of lawyer do yourself a favor whatever her retainer fee Pay it sign on the bottom line and higher one in Will County is best attorneys

Bad experience, not satisfied with representation

I was the petitioner in what seemed to be a straight forward case. I was requesting receipts (proof) from my ex-wife regarding my son's college tuition and expenses. After my initial consultation with Amy I paid her a retainer fee and hired her. After retaining Amy however, she showed little con...cern to me or my case. Continuances were scheduled partly due to lost paper work on behalf of her office amongst other issues. After a year and a half I still do not have the receipts showing the breakdown of what is owed for my son's college tuition expenses. I am highly dissatisfied with the services of Amy Melton.

Such a good lawyer

I have several family members that live just west of Chicago. One of them was having issues related to child support payments from her Ex. We were referred to Amy through a local Attorney in my hometown. She answered all of our questions thoroughly and we retained her for that legal issue.
