I highly recommend Amy Melton and her staff! I interviewed a couple of attorneys prior to visiting Amy. What stood out about her first was how friendly and caring she was. She did not rush through her initial consultation and asked many important questions besides answering all of the questions and... concerns I had. After speaking to her the first time I didn’t hesitate to hire her. It soon became obvious that my ex was going to be difficult. Amy handled all of his demands and his constantly changing legal advisers with professionalism. I especially appreciated how Amy and Sue, her paralegal, got me through difficult roadblocks during the divorce by talking to me and putting everything into perspective! By the time my divorce was final I felt like Amy and Sue were more friends than hired professionals. The outcome of my divorce was positive. It took awhile to finalize due to Covid beginning shortly after we filed. But Amy and Sue made it all work in spite of the lockdown. If I ever need another lawyer Amy Melton would be my first call. I have already recommended her to a few people. The cost of my divorce, I feel, was competitive and reasonable. They will work with you regarding payment and they try to be as frugal as possible. I don’t know what I would have done without Amy and Sue in my corner!

I couldn't be more grateful for the experience and outcome I had with Amy and her staff. She showed great professionalism, knowledge of the laws, and great court room demeanor. She was absolutely brilliant when my case went to trial. She asked all the right questions and phrased them perfectly to get... the responses we needed without having to be vicious or callous. She definitely helped me to get the outcome that I was hoping for in the ruling. Especially since the other side was difficult to deal with the entire process. What i can't express greatly enough is how Amy kept me calm throughout the entire ordeal. Amy and her colleague Sue were always there for me answering all of my questions and making sure I went into every court date with all the information I needed. Sometimes I would call just so they would make me feel more comfortable about my situation and I could tell they genuinely cared. Amy's entire staff is great, they are very professional but at the same time very personable and down to earth. I never had a bad experience talking to any of them. Amy is great. I had a child custody/relocation case that i had lost in 2017. I called around consulting with different attorneys and no one wanted to take my case. They said i had no chance of having it reopen. When i contacted Amy she was unsure as the others were but still decided to take a chance.... Well it worked out in the end for me. Amy fought my case for 2yrs and we won. The long journey was worth it and i'm happy she didn't give up on me. I can honestly say Amy fought for me and my daughter and i won in the end. She really cares about her clients. She will work with you and i had fallen on hard times. Amy and her assistant Sue are great. Believe me my case wasn't easy and i know it made her have a few headaches lol. For my first time hiring a lawyer i had a great experience. I give Amy Melton law 5 thumbs up. Mrs. Melton and her team always made me feel at ease with their kindness and how patient they were. Amy is very personable which made it so much easier for me to speak with her without feeling like, I was going to be judged, but yet she always had a professional demeanor about her too.
