He barely even tried in my case and now I can never advance in life
I was recommended this attorney by another friend who got off with a much serious case than I with much more evidence. I was 19 years old and was tried for a DUI with no breathalyzer records or video recording. Mr. Martin convinced me after paying almost $10,000 that he would have this dismissed. wit...
I am sorry this client is feeling that he was not well represented. Sometimes it is in the client's best interest to negotiate a favorable plea agreement on a DUI case when the evidence is so stacked against you that a trial is not in your best interest. For example as in this case when two police officers testify that you had red, bloodshot eyes, a strong odor of alcohol on your breath, slurring your words and staggering while walking. Moreover, the Officers both notice that you failed the Field sobriety tests by: forgetting the sequence of the alphabet, staggering on the walking test and being unable to answer simple questions logically. If you have no chance at trial, it can be in your best interest to avoid license revocation, keep the DUI off your criminal record with Court Supervision, lower the fines and avoid jail. As former prosecutors with over 20 years experience, we have brought over 1500 cases to trial and we know when not to bring a case to trial and subject our client to horrible consequences following a loss at trial. For a first time general DUI offense we have never charged more than $1,500.00. Hence, your memory must be flawed after 10 years

That cost me two $10,000.00 retainers and $2,000.00 for a private investigator that was never hired. I just got out of prison 2 months ago. I refused to take a ...

People should know the truth about this unprofessional incompetent lawyer.
Perhaps if your case is worthy of his attention, he may do a great job. I suspect this may be true, but my case clearly was insignificant to him and while 6k was spent for the defense, he only seemed interested in striking a deal. I know people who get arrested often lie about their innocence but I ...
