Outstanding Results!!

Chris and his firm took care of everything for my motorcycle accident case. He consistently worked my case over several years attempting to reach an equitable settlement. Excellent

Chris MacGillis and his team were wonderful in every way. I called him after my husband's accident/personal injury without a clue of the next steps and he was so quick to respond and get the ball rolling. He met us in person, truly seemed to care about our family and the outcome of the case and put our worries at ease. Super professional, yet laid back, and made us feel comfortable every step of the way! We cannot thank him and his team enough for all the work they put into our case. Personal Injury Representation

My name is Steve and I work in the firefighter. I went to Chris after a drunk driver hit me. We always take care of others during this type of incident so I didn't really expect there to be many issues. Well no the case. Medical bills started to roll in and deductibles weren't met so it started to get frustrating. One call to Chris and he took care of everything. No more calls or arguments with providers. Chris took action and I didn't have to make any more calls or worry about who was paying what and when. Full Service Attorney the Fights for the Client

After being involved a a car crash, at no fault of my own, Attorney MacGillis and his team fought to the bitter end to ensure I received everything I had coming following a very life disrupting event. Other than providing facts I essentially did nothing other than have them go to work on my behalf. Don’t fall for the ambulance chasers just because they are on TV. You’re in great hands with Chris, he’s a bulldog, and he won’t offer you a settlement unless it’s in your best interest, nor does he shy away from escalating the case if needed. His reputation in the personal injury world was clear by the settlement I received. I highly doubt I could have done better in court. Chris will always be my guy should I face an injury at the hands of another person again. You won’t be disappointed, you will be handled was if you’re the only client they have, and you’ll never wonder what’s going on with your case. They made something I’ve never had to do very easy.

Caring, confident and effective

I am SO thankful that I hired Attorney Chris MacGillis after I was involved in an accident where I was rear ended, resulting in a serious shoulder injury. Attorney for Uninsured Motor claim

Chris was an excellent attorney. He is very confident, but never over-promised or gave false expectations. Chris is a patient attorney who will fight and work for his clients. He advises to be patient as it will result in higher compensation later on, which is what happened with me. If I need an attorney, I will contact Chris, and if it is not an area of his expertise, I will trust any recommendation of his. I will also recommend this law firm if anyone I know suffers an injury.

I am probably writing the most important review I have ever written, Chris Macgillis was my attorney for a motorcycle accident that I was a passenger on. When I originally spoke with him I never would have guessed that I would have needed him as I did, I thought it would be a very cut and dry case..an ankle fracture. I was so wrong and he was so right. Life and health are never as we predict and I am so thankful for he and his team. Chris was always in communication with me, keeping me updated and informed all along the way. He gave me all the info I needed so that I could provide him with what HE needed to properly represent me. I kept him updated with medical and he did the rest, and I know it wasn't easy for him. In the end, what was seamless for me, resulted in the max payout for what the insurance allowed. I was awarded a very large settlement! This is entirely due to Chris from start to finish..If you want the best outcome, please hire the best attorney. I did.

Fantastic lawyer

I was a firefighter filing for duty disability and reached out to Chris MacGillis due to his good reputation representing fire and police unions. Uninsured motorist

In March of 2019 I was rear ended by an uninsured driver while on-duty, resulting in severe back pain. Six months of treatment for my injuries and a diminished quality of life. Workman’s comp did cover my treatments but did nothing to reimburse the other time and expenses incurred by taking off work to go to my doctors appointments. To make matters worse, my city didn’t have uninsured motorist coverage. Chris and his team were very knowledgeable and helped me navigate the mess of going after my own uninsured motorist coverage to recover the lost time, pain and diminished quality of life. I highly recommend MacGillis Wiemer LLC, they’re very experienced in dealing with first responders.

Best Lawyer for Law Enforcement Officers

Attorney Macgillis and his firm is simply amazing and truly cares about their clients. His approach to every situation is extremely thought out and calculated. Chris accepted a VERY challenging and highly publicized case. As the person living through the stress and emotions of this case, Chris kept me assured and level headed. The case took approximately 3.5 years to get resolved. Chris handled 2 lawsuits at once, a Federal lawsuit and a State of Wisconsin D.D.R. Case. VERY COMPLICATED. He took the cases all the way to trial and we PREVAILED. Chris took on some very powerful lawyers and organizations. Chris was clearly head and shoulders over the other lawyer’s, he actually made them look pathetic. Watching him in court was very impressive. Thorough. Highly Recommend.

Union Attorney

Chris became counsel for the WLEA while we were mired in contract negotiations with the state. He came prepared and was familiar with our issues on day one. Chris was organized and methodical. I firmly believe that he reset the table and moved the talks in our direction. I have also seen Chris argue discipline cases. He brought the same skill to bear in that arena as he did for our contract negotiations. I have been in LE for over 20 years and he is one of the best litigators I have seen practice law. Chris has also represented our members in issues relating to duty disability claims and has even represented our members in civil injury cases. I make this sound like Chris is a one man show. He is not. His office is staffed with multiple attorneys that I have the same confidence in. I cannot give higher praise to Chris MacGillis as our attorney.
