Hired Mike to take care of a very old unresolved OWI case. He was thorough and incredibly responsive when anything came up. Has a great depth of knowledge when it comes to law and the court system. On March 2017, I was caught shoplifting at Macy's in Dearborn,Mi. I was terrified b/c this was my first time and I couldn't afford to have Retail Fraud/larceny on my record! I googled a bunch of attorneys but Kelly&Kelly came up first and their reviews touched my heart the most so I decided to go wit...h my gut. I hired Mike immediately. Before My court date Mike thought like a judge and a prosecutor. He had me take a online theft course and go to these in person kleptomania classes. I'm not a kleptomaniac! But it was all apart of the game, to show the judge that I was taking steps in the right direction(b/c these are the things they would order you to do anyway). Long story short, Mike was able to convince the prosecutor to drop the larceny charges right away and charge me with a lesser crime "Breach of peace" and only 3months of probation. Here's the cherry on top. Once I complete the 3months probation(meeting once a month and 1 work program per month) the Breach of peace will be off my record completely!! Like it never happened! God is so good! I was extremely nervous and didn't know how my case was going to turn out. But Mike reassured me that" they can screw over everyone in that court room, but not my client!" and he made sure of that! Hire him, do what he suggests and leave it in Gods hands.
