Mike came up with an excellent pre-court plan that helped convince the court that our son was taking his MIP charge very seriously. The judge in the case commented at sentencing how impressed he was with the work done by our son in preparing for his day in court and said "you have a very smart Attor...ney". We would highly recommend Mike for your legal needs. Be prepared to do a ton of work before you go to court, but if you follow Mike's plan you will have an excellent outcome! If you are looking for the "easy way out" Mike's pre-court plan isn't for you.

I got an mip when i was 19 in the 47th district court. Young and nieve I faced the case without any legal representation. This resulted in me getting extremely difficult probation and 6 violations. Overwhelmed with the legal system I simply stopped reporting which resulted in a warrant for my arrest.... Over a year later I knew I was facing large repercussions, even up to jail time which would have resulted in me losing out on my semester of school and possibly my employment. Although I lived two hours away and only met with Mike in person the day of court, he showed his upmost character. I did a lot of research and spoke with a lot of lawyers, he was the only one who didn't try to speak with me as quickly as possible, get me to pay his fee and get off the phone. He took an hour over the phone with me to consult with me about the case before I even shelled out a dollar. His fee was very fair when compared to the lawyers I spoke with. In court he was creative, smart and did a great job representing me, as well as coming up with some very inventive steps to reestablish my credibility with the court. 47th district court is notoriously tough, but the day of court we were prepared, and he did a great job representing me. Although I was facing up to 20 days in jail, which seemed to be the likely outcome, that day I was in and out in less than 10 minutes, case closed all violations dropped. Mike is literally a LIFE SAVER. I was hesitant at first because his avvo rating was only at a 6.6. But this is at no fault of mike because of the scoring mode they use, he has 5 star ratings for everything except experience which is out of his hands with him being licensed for only 2 years. This should be seen as a good thing because Mike will be willing to work harder than most experienced attorneys would because he is still working to build his reputation. I would not recommend another criminal defense lawyer to any of my loved ones. Again look no further than mike for great representation.

My daughter and a large group of her friends were essentially trapped by a group of police officers on a bus. They got MIPs. As a parent you are not happy with your child but the police officers and the law went beyond "the punishment fitting the crime" Michael stepped in, and out of 7 attorneys ...helping each of these families individually, Michael was THEE ONLY ONE, who actually knew EXACTLY how to deal with the law and basically completely educated the other attorneys and their families to protect their children instead of "throwing their lives to the wolves". I can't say thank you enough to Michael. And further, he also helped me hold my child accountable for the actions.
