The call I made to Mike Kelly asking for help changed my life. Period. I see commercials all the time on TV that say the lawyers "take your case personally" and "treated me like part of the family". Not sure about those firms, but Mike Kelly completely exceeded any expectations that I had about of... a lawyer/client relationship. I honestly feel he DID take my case personally; like HE was being charged with a crime. It gave me a great feeling knowing he was on my side. Although he was fighting hard for me, he was a "good guy" that I was proud to have representing me. Based on his hard work, diligence and ability to piece my case together in a logical way, Mike was able to get my charges reduced to the best possible outcome that we could have expected. It will allow me to resume my life, having learned some valuable lessons, without any detrimental consequences. His passion and advocacy for me was amazing. He was prepared and professional every time we spoke or met. His team back in his office was also great to deal with during this process; especially Brian. I'm not sure what would have happened if I didn't hire Mike, but I'm glad I didn't have to find out. Mike Kelly was recommended to me by my close friend that was facing serious charges that Mike got him out of. I contacted several lawyers prior to Mike and after consulting with him I knew he was the lawyer for me. He laid down a proactive approach and the blueprints behind the plan he had set ...out for me. He set realistic goals that would allow me to continue to be able to fulfill my aspirations of being an arson investigator. Mike was always early to court and worked diligently to assure we had success, he made sure I never got jammed up and held true to all his promises. I was arrested for an OWI in January of 2019, I blew slightly over the legal limit and the assistant prosecutor wasn't willing to give me anything lower than an OVI due to the fact I had an open bottle containing alcohol on me. He was persistent on getting my charger reduced to something less than an OVI. He was granted permission from the assistant prosecutors to go over her head and speak to the unit chief prosecutor pertaining my case. He did everything in his power to get my OWI reduced all the way down to an allowing an impaired person to operate charge; (without taking it to trial) and he accomplished our goals. When all other attornies I consulted with said it was not possible due to the open alcohol bottle. Most importantly this allowed me to still achieve my goals in the fire service. I would never hire any other lawyer, he was extremely professional and took my case very seriously. He put a lot of work in and got me out of the court system without any jail time nor probation, no license suspension nor restrictions, no points on my license and my incident not reported to the secretary of state, but most importantly a second chance. There was light at the end of the tunnel for my case and I wouldn't have found the light without Mike Kelly in my corner fighting for me. He once told me "people throw me Hale Mary's and I catch them" and he was not joking. If you're looking for a well groomed, educated, confident lawyer that never gives up to go to bat for you he's your guy. He will make you a priority and always hold true to his word.

The words I type cannot explain how much Michael has did for me over the past year. Michael represented me and stayed with me for countless court dates. The court never got it right. Mike did.
