Says what he means and does what he says. Mr. Dickstein was an awesome advocate and great attorney.

I was under federal and state investigation and interviewed several lawyers looking for someone I trusted to help me. I was very skeptical and, frankly, did not trust lawyers or have good experiences with them in the past. I was impressed with Mr. Dickstein right off the bat because he was straight... with me about my situation and didn’t play games trying to get me to hire him. For better or worse, he laid it on the line, told me the good, bad and ugly and made it clear how he would be able to help. He did not make promises or guarantees like other lawyers I met with which was a key reason in why I hired him. Another thing that was impressive was seeing his office and the way his team worked together. Instead of hiring one lawyer, I liked that there was a group of people supporting me and working to defend me. My case went on for a very long time but in the end, Mr. Dickstein was instrumental in getting the federal government to let the state prosecutor handle the case. We were able to reach a fair plea bargain and sentence that made me feel like I got the benefit of Mr. Dickstein’s superior negotiating skills. I knew from the beginning I was not going to walk away from my situation but I am convinced that I got the best outcome possible under the circumstances. This would not have been the case without Mr. Dickstein who was on my side and working for me nonstop. I wish him nothing but good fortune and happiness and thank him for helping me get past the most difficult time in my life and with a future still to look forward to.

Charges DECLINED! If not for Loren, I would have been facing felony charges.

I was referred to Loren Dickstein by my business attorney regarding possible embezzlement charges. I recently opened a business that is like the company I used to work for. My former employer reported to the police that I was improperly using my company credit card for personal uses and otherwise us...ing corporate resources for me personally. Many employees and the owner of the company I used to work for regularly used credit cards for some personal expenses and this was known and accepted. It looked bad at first and several other lawyers told me they couldn’t do anything and just to let them know if I was charged. This seemed like poor advice and I started to call several lawyers and kept getting similar advice; the response was different when I contacted Loren Dickstein. He assured me that it would be worth the investment to hire him on a pre-charge basis and let him try to stop the charges from ever being filed. I liked what he said and he had great answers to all my questions. His approach seemed to make the most sense and I figured it would be less expensive to hire him to represent me during the investigation part of the case as opposed to having to hire him to represent me in court on felony charges. Thank goodness, I followed Loren’s advice and let him take my case. We ended up working with an accounting expert and Loren’s investigator got some great stuff that we presented to the detective. After reviewing all the information, the prosecutor denied the warrant and said I would not be charged. Loren and his firm were the best investment that I could have made. If a family member of mine were ever accused of a crime, I would absolutely stress that Loren is the only lawyer I would ever trust.

Domestic Violence

My son was charged with Domestic Violence. The main aim of the accuser and prosecution was to convict me son so that he would lose his medical license. Loren very skillfully had the Judge cover his face in disbelief and had him walk away. The trial lasted 45 minutes before the Judge realized that the... police and prosecutor were concealing key evidence. Loren is very professional and no non-sense lawyer. His not cheap but worth every penny. He talks very little but is straight to the point. He is pretty good at returning phone calls. I have the utmost respect and admiration for Loren

Amazing, Amazing Lawyer. Every great thing people said about him was true and even more.

I was very concerned about finding a lawyer who would truly fight for me because I'm mideastern and there is great prejudice for people of my culture. Mr. Loren was very respectful and fought for me stronger than anyone else would have done. My calls and emails were always returned in a fair time and... things were explained to me in a way me and my family could understand. My family was very involved but Mr. Loren respected my privacy. He made sure I was treated fairly and the bad things other lawyer told me would happen never did. This was thanks to my attorney who stood up for me at all times. I'm happy with the very fair way things worked out and with the time it took the charges to be resolved.

Wrongfully accused. Charges dismissed.

I was accused of a crime that I did not commit. The person who accused me was my ex-wife and she was trying to manipulate the court so that she could gain an advantage over me in a custody dispute. My kids are the most important thing to me and the way I saw it, I was fighting for them. It was imp...ortant to hire the best possible lawyer I could afford and found Loren Dickstein on avvo after reading his reviews. I called the top three lawyers and met with two of them. The other attorney wanted to talk about settling the case and when I said I was innocent, he told me how hard the system is to beat and that most jurors will believe what my wife said. Loren was willing to listen to me and told me that I was in control and not him. He would give me advice and take the case to trial if that is what I wanted and would fight for me as if it was personal. He made sure to tell me that he could not guarantee a win but that he guaranteed he would do everything possible to win. This is what I wanted and this is what I got! It turned out that he was fighting the case and not giving up and eventually the attorney representing the prosecutor’s office agreed to end the case in a way that was too good to pass up. The case is over and it was to my benefit. Had I gone with the other lawyer, things would not have worked out as well. I strongly endorse Loren as a lawyer and a man you can trust to truly help you.

I do not stand for the court system being abused to manipulate custody. If I have a pet peeve, that is it. Didn't happen in this case and it's not going to happen in any case that I'm involved in! Thank you for the review.
