In support of my 94 year old Mother-in-Law I needed the services of an Elder Law Attorney that could construct an asset protection trust structure compliant with the requirements of the Veterans Administration Aid and Attendance benefit. Selecting a professional in any area can be difficult. In my ca...reer I worked with several attorneys specializing in international technology licensing and supply agreements and recognized that in any discipline skill levels vary. To narrow the field in this selection process I met with a past President of the Michigan Elder Law Attorney Association for guidance and then two attorneys specializing in this area.
