Honest. Committed. Extremely coherent. A great fighter!

In February of 2017, my dad's life was turned upside down. He was falsely accused of a very serious crime and was facing multiple awful charges. I helped my dad search for a reputable and assiduous attorney. Loren was just that. My dad is a great man and did not deserve to be in the position he was i...n. Loren sincerely believed my dad's innocence and I could see that Loren truly wanted to give my dad the freedom that he deserved. I've mounted a great deal of trust into Loren, especially since I knew he would tirelessly fight for my dad's life. The span of this week was my dad's trial...I have one word/reaction to describe Loren's talent: WOW!! Loren exceeded my expectations...he was great and did not leave any stone unturned. Of the many great characteristics Loren exhibits, he is honest, committed, and extremely coherent. Honest: From my first meeting with Loren, he did not try to persuade me into hiring him. He was truthful about his opinions in my dad's case, how and if he could help, and he even was generous enough to offer the names of other lawyer's who may be able to help. Despite my father's innocence, my dad faced terrifying consequences. With that in mind, Loren continued his honesty even into the last days of his service by reminding my dad to prepare himself for the worst case scenario (Thank God, it never happened). Committed: Loren knew every little detail of my dad's case, down to the syllable. This shows that he worked on it very often, if not everyday. He was in constant communication with me and always kept my dad and I in the loop. Loren was always looking for ways to help strengthen my dad's case. Coherent: Whether someone is a fan of Ben Shapiro or not, there's no way one can argue against the fact that Ben is an extremely logical, intelligent man who is a great debater. The reason I bring Ben Shapiro up is because Loren's logic and quick wit reminds me of Ben's sharp mind. Loren monopolized his logic and used it to shred the prosecutors arguments/theory into pieces! The prosecutor had no idea what was in store for him (or if he did, then he obviously didn't prepare enough to fight against Loren, lol). Tonight, my family and I went out to eat and cut cake in celebration of my father's victory. He was found NOT GUILTY on every single one of the charges he was facing. I hope Loren had just as much fun fighting this trial as I did knowing that the "victim" embarrassed herself in front of the jurors with her extreme lies, inconsistencies and attempted manipulation. Lastly, I'd like to state that Katie is amazing. She was an integral part of my great experience with Loren's firm. She is such a gentle and loving soul. Loren, keep her forever!

Fought for my cousin like no other lawyer could have!

Loren Dickstein was my cousin’s attorney in St. Clare County. My family and I hired him based on researching the best criminal attorneys in Michigan. My cousin was charged with possession of child sexually abusive material and capturing an image of an unclothed person. Needless to say, the case was ...difficult and the prosecutor and probation were out to destroy my cousin and give him the maximum time in prison. Although the crime was very, very bad, my cousin is a good man with a terrible problem. He has been in intensive treatment with an expert and has a very good prognosis for not becoming involved in this type of activity again with continued therapy. Loren did a great job getting the judge to see him as a human and also see the offense in perspective and not the insane portrayal the prosecutor was making up in court. Everyone wanted my cousin to go to prison and the recommendation from probation in the sentencing report was for years at MDOC. Loren got the judge to give county time and probation with intensive treatment. He saved my cousin’s life and my entire family is forever indebted. We could not be happier with the effort, compassion, and hard work. He treated my cousin and my family with respect and dignity and he never gave up fighting for the best outcome. I don’t know if any other lawyer who could have accomplished this result.

Loren and Randy made a huge difference in my life and I’m forever greatful.

In 2016, my uncle assaulted me and refused to admit what he had done to my parents. I struggled with going to the police and took time to talk with friends and my parents. Everyone was so supportive and I decided to file a police report. When I reported the assault, the police officer criticized me ...for not reporting what happened right away (it had been about 3 weeks). He was demeaning, condescending and disrespectful. He acted as though I was being untruthful. I left the police station in tears and felt as if I had been victimized again. A close friend recommended that I call Randy Lewis and Loren Dickstein and see if they could help. I never expected them to do so much and they went to bat for me with the police. They were very empathetic and sensitive to what happened with me at the police and with my uncle. They took time to listen to me and they formulated a plan to convince the police that my report was true and that my uncle had some history that gave some credibility to what I said. I could tell immediately that they had the respect of the officers and the prosecutor. My uncle was charged and plead guilty. He is getting help for the problems he is having in life and I feel like I was finally treated fairly. Had it not been for Loren and Randy, my uncle would have ended up hurting someone else and I may have never recovered from my experience.
