Highly recommend!

After reaching out to several DUI attorneys, we ultimately chose Mr. Barone — and we’re so glad we did. I had a lot at stake: I’m currently serving an apprenticeship and would lose my job (and future career) if I lost my license. We knew this case wouldn’t be easy and needed someone who would go abov...e and beyond — not just “check the box.” Mr. Barone exceeded every expectation. As impressive as his credentials are, they don’t begin to capture how skillful and strategic he truly is. I was stopped for speeding and arrested for DUI, refusing a blood test, and failing to disclose that I had a firearm in the car. (I’m a CPL holder but had forgotten to remove it as I normally do.) Mr. Barone was honest from the start, explaining that my case would be challenging, but he gave us confidence that we were in the best possible hands. Through his deep understanding of both the law and toxicology — drawing from his background in biology and forensic science — Mr. Barone identified multiple errors in how my blood sample was collected, transported, and analyzed. Because of his detailed and persuasive explanation to the prosecutor, the refusal was dismissed, and the gun-related charges were significantly reduced. Ultimately, my DUI charge was amended to “allowing another person to operate my vehicle,” which means I was able to keep both my license and my job. We are absolutely thrilled with this outcome. From our first call with Ryan to working directly with Patrick, we had peace of mind every step of the way. Mr. Barone is not only an expert in his field but also a genuinely good person who cares about his clients. He was worth every penny, and we can’t thank him enough for protecting my future.

My attorney saved my life!

Faced with a multiple count complaint, I was looking at a possible 20+ year sentence. That, plus my poor health, just about guaranteed I might never see the light of day again. My first impressions of Mr Barone were of confidence, compassion and experience. In short order, Mr Barone had prepared a de...fensive battle plan for my case. When he presented it to me there was no sugar coating or outrageous promises. He explained his plan and warned me that I would need to be involved. Mr Barone and his staff ensured I was kept up to date on the court proceedings throughout the case. He also explained any and all questions that I or my family members had about the case. He is a very personable man and easy to talk to. To my advantage Patrick did not take no for an answer when dealing/ bargaining with the Prosecuting Attorney. He stated to me that he thought I should not be incarcerated, and that is exactly what he fought for and won for me. I truly believe he negotiated a second life for me and I will be forever grateful for that. I would also like to mention that Mr Barone removed his attorney's hat and graciously offered advice on counseling that has been invaluable. Mr Barone, I can not thank you enough for the help you’ve given me.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
