Michelle Ericka Goldstein

My review is a little different, short and to the point. As stated in other reviews Attorney Goldstein is all of those things. The only thing missing is mention of the dedication and time she spend answering endless questions and preparing for each case. In my case it was pushed to a hearing, I had s...o many questions and emailed them all as I thought of them. She answered them and explained she was working on my case with a flu. This was a Saturday. Wednesday of the next week was the hearing. I was so nervous, Monday came the opposing Attorney sent her everything asked to settle the case. I was awarded primary custody and he got every other weekend. I went to office and spoke about the stipulation. I looked at her and stated none of this would be possible without the time and dedication you kept through the process. We sent the signed documents over and I went to pay the remaining balance , I ask her what is my bill expecting to be charged for all the correspondence and hours of work she had done. She stated you paid your balance in full there Is no other charges. Attorney of her caliber should be working in a big law firm as a partner, that was also the time I realized she is not your typical Attorney. Thank you Attorney Goldstein from all those like myself you have helped.

Being an attorney you would expect her to be attempting to sell herself and give false promises that she can not keep. I met with Attorney Goldstein and she was very professional and did not attempt to give false hope in my divorce and custody. She was upfront about what the possibilies and what the ...outcomes could possibly be. I had met with 2 attorneys prior to her and they wanted $200 to $300 for just walking in their office. I went to her office under the same mindset of paying this huge amount for the consult and ended up starting the retaining process. I did not want to have a battle so to speak with my wife, Attorney Goldstein discussed and gave me a detailed resolution to propose to my wife. My wife accepted the proposal we emailed Attorney Goldstein and she had everything filed the very nexted day. 90 days elapsed my ex wife and I were divorced and the children have equal time with both families. Attorney Goldstein was caring and understanding with the situation that my wife and I were only married for the children's sake. She helped to show us another way and there are Attorneys out there that truly try to find the best way to resolve matters. Attorneys like this special lady take their time to listen and have an understanding that not all people are out to battle over material items and using their children as pawns to attempt to destroy the other parent. I am a office professional with old fashioned values, I thought getting a divorce was taboo but the way Attorney Goldstein handled my case was more then you can ask for in an Attorney.

When you walk in to an Attorney's office you get a coldness because you know the situation is really bad and ask why did it have to come to this. Children are in the middle of the tug of war between parents. We met Attorney Godstein and we wanted guarantees about outcomes. She stated I am here to gi...ve you options and facts, I am not like other attorneys who have to sale themselves. I am not a car dealership and there is no warranty or guarantee of outcomes. I was shocked by the statement because she asked very simply do you love your child and your wife. I stated yes and will protect them no matter what then she stated I feel you both should proceed this way. You have to understand I was in the Military and I want truth bluntness and being direct about outcomes, I do not want the BS especially when it comes to my children and my wife. IF you are wondering if these are my step children you would be correct. Michelle stated you are in these children's lives and have influence on them. I stated to me they are just like my own and if we have to enter into court then I want you to represent my wife. I feel you would advocate for her and protect my childrens interest at the sametime. Needless to say she got us the outcome we needed and we are better and stronger as a family unit because we had an advocate who stood with us.

Michelle Goldstein is a fabulous lawyer that truly helped us get our children secure, safe, and stable. She aided in our custody case and has continued to be a valuable part of our lives. She is warm and "no-nonsense". She wont talk down to you and takes the time to make sure you understand all your ...options. She puts the children first and really helps you keep your head clear and free of the "tit-for-tat" nonsense that can come with highly emotional cases. She throws herself into your case as if it were her own. You will not find a better lawyer that puts the welfare of the children above ALL else. We are thankful to have had the blessing of having her on our side and more importantly, on our children's side. Without her I shutter to think the state the children would be in today. Thank you Michelle for continuing to help and for being our light in the dark.

I was already involved in a custody battle for my daughter in york county when I went to see Michelle. I had an attorney prior to hiring Michelle was not representing me the way I heard Michelle would. I was already scared to meet with another attorney because my former attorney charged me out the no...se for just attending a conference. And wanted to have another $4000 for a hearing which did not include attorney correspondence, emails, phone call, or letters to keep me informed about my case. I was broke and had no one to help me until I went to the office and met with Michelle on a Saturday. She had made the time for me and worked with my schedule. She greeted me at the door with a warm smile and assuring me she would help. By the end of the meeting I had a first class attorney by my side and knew she would fight for my daughter and I .She setup a payment plan to fit my budget and was honest with about what she could do and would do for my case.She wasn't like my former attorney who promised me I win and talked about how good she was. Michelle explained everything to me in detail. She explained every step she would take and why. When it came to court she was my advocate and got the everything heard the way I wanted it. She got me primary custody of my baby. Everytime I would have a question she would respond to me right away through email or texting. She gave me her personal number and in case of an emergency and said to use it if nescessary. She made me feel like I was more then just a client who paid her money. I realized she had a big heart. I asked once why did she take my case and just charge me a flat rate when any other attorney would keep on charging their clients. An Attorney of her caliber usually would be worth so much more. She laughed and said I love my job and knowing I make a difference . She said that is why I do this because every deserves to have justice especially people that can not afford it. So if you want an attorney that is aggressive and think that you can't afford the best well you need to come and meet with Michelle. Her and her staff are ready to help you and treat you the way all attorneys should. They treat you like your a friend and work with any situation and any budget. And believe me when I say this you will not find anyone more honest blunt and truthful then her. She puts her heart into every case to get the outcome her clients want and won't quit till she feels they get justice. So your want the best come and setup a meeting with Michelle she didn't let me down and she won't let you down either.
