Michelle Ericka Goldstein

I retained Attorney Goldstein this past year to represent me in a Custody action. This was out of county, therefore, I knew it would be costly. I made the appointment with her assistant, whom got me a weekend appointment, explained the flat rate system and payment plan, then proceeded to email me a c...ustody questionnaire. Her assistant also explained how this is highly emotional, and their understanding of giving me the information so I could come to my own choice. I went into the meeting with a heavy heart thinking I would not be able to make the decisions necessary. Attorney Goldstein made me feel as ease, stating these are your options. She did not promise anything, but instead said this is what we can do to move forward. Needless to say, I have primary of my child. Attorney Goldstein made my day by being the sounding board when I asked for her opinion on incidents. She was always responsive and explained this is my life, my choices effect me directly. During this emotional time, Attorney Goldstein was the calming voice of reason to ensure I made decisions based on the facts, pros and cons. I specifically think you are solely responsible for your case, but want to blame the attorney. The Attorney Goldstein I saw, well she protected my case and handle my emotional outbursts with nothing but professional, logic based factors that I was so overly emotional to comprehend. That is an attorney that should be revered and awarded. For she has the compassion to aggressively represent her client, but still advocate for the best interest of the child.

Michelle is an amazing attorney. I love how she keeps in touch with you and informs you on what's going on with your case. Also she is reasonable, and her payment plans are great. I'm glad that I found the best attorney there is. I would recommend her for everybody. I had a attnorey who recently retired and she was amazing and it was so hard to find an attnorey like her and an affordable one as well. I just wentered back to court almost 2 years ago and spent some much in court not one but twice. At the time when I spoke with mrs. Goldstein I had an attorney a...nd he promised me everything I wanted. I was just so strain and stress trying to find an attorney that I went by my emotion instead of taking to find one. I spoken with Mrs. Goldstein a couple of times through email and she was always straight up forward with me not promising me anything but let me know that she would it be there to fight. I was just too scared to change because I had a court hearing and i did not know what to do. I knew I had to make a decision quick because my attorney was not going to fight for me. My attorney I had was not doing nothing for me I was the one given him date of my hearing and so on i felt like i had to be on top of him. I went to conciliation meeting I feel like I had no voice whatsoever ma do it was a waste. After speaking with Mrs. Goldstein and her assistant they were just so loving and caring and really had the heart of gold and they were passionate to help me and others. She put me on a payment plan that was very affordable and showed me by her action she is not in this for the money but to make a difference and to help. Anyone that goes through a custody battle knows that it's the most hardest and difficult thing anyone can go through and I would definitely recommend this is Mrs. Goldstein to anyone not only is she a great an attorney but she has a great assistant who goes above and beyond to make sure that someone is fighting for them and that you have a voice.. Here is my story, I was 19 living with my parents had a 2 year old son. The father did not want anything to do with my baby until he got with his current wife. They threatened to take my child and the filed for custody and made me out to be a bad mother. Attorney Goldstein met me on a Saturday with h...er secretary TL taking notes. They found a whole bunch of things on the internet within the first 30 minutes I was there. They started working even though I had not paid them a dime. Attorney Goldstein stated even though I had brought the consult fee I could make payments on the account and she would go into court with me. She got me custody of my son. She fought with their attorney. I still make my payments and I still update her even though it is 2 years later. Now I am in my own place and have my son with me. I felt she was more of a friend and I still take my son there to visit her. Not everyone goes above and beyond like this Attorney. She expects justice and she will fight for you to get it.

I was already involved in a custody battle for my daughter in york county when I went to see Michelle. I had an attorney prior to hiring Michelle was not representing me the way I heard Michelle would. I was already scared to meet with another attorney because my former attorney charged me out the no...se for just attending a conference. And wanted to have another $4000 for a hearing which did not include attorney correspondence, emails, phone call, or letters to keep me informed about my case. She got me primary custody of my baby. Everytime I would have a question she would respond to me right away through email or texting. She gave me her personal number and in case of an emergency and said to use it if nescessary. She made me feel like I was more then just a client who paid her money. I realized she had a big heart. I asked once why did she take my case and just charge me a flat rate when any other attorney would keep on charging their clients. An Attorney of her caliber usually would be worth so much more. She laughed and said I love my job and knowing I make a difference . She said that is why I do this because every deserves to have justice especially people that can not afford it. So if you want an attorney that is aggressive and think that you can't afford the best well you need to come and meet with Michelle. Her and her staff are ready to help you and treat you the way all attorneys should. They treat you like your a friend and work with any situation and any budget. And believe me when I say this you will not find anyone more honest blunt and truthful then her. She puts her heart into every case to get the outcome her clients want and won't quit till she feels they get justice.
