Biography
Attorney Bucher focuses his practice on assisting persons charged with OVI/DUI across Northwest Ohio. He sets himself apart from other OVI attorneys through his training which includes certification as an instructor in NHTSA Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, training in Headspace Gas Chromatography (the process used by all Ohio crime labs to analyze blood and urine samples), training in advanced drug recognition, certification on Ohio 's breath testing equipment, and his continual training in OVI specific topics through the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, DUI Defense Lawyers Association, and the National College of DUI Defense.
In addition to this training that is OVI specific, Attorney Bucher is a graduate of the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy. This allows him to take a scientific approach to those cases where chemical testing of some sort (breath, blood, or urine) is conducted.
Attorney Bucher accepts select personal injury cases and traffic cases that are not OVI specific.

By far the best. I blew a 1.57 and he was able to find a flaw in the breathalyzer. Beat my case. No points or DWI on my file now. If there is a chance it can be done, Andrew can and will make it happen. he's good at what he does. Professional in every way.

Replied last July 16, 2016You need to be careful when selecting your attorney. While the internet can be a great tool in assisting you, it can also be manipulated so you think you are dealing with a local attorney when that is not the case. This is even true with the fantastic service provided by this site. I pride myself on my relationships I have with the courts and their personnel in Northwest Ohio. I was born and raised in Allen County, cut my teeth in the Lucas County Courts, and truly lived in practiced in Lucas, Hancock, and Wood counties. With offices in Toledo and Lima, currently living in Perrysburg, and spending every day doing OVI work in Northwest Ohio I provide specialized knowledge and training to courts I am really local to. When I am hired to go across the state outside of my usual area I always recommend my client allow me to hire local counsel to assist us, I provide the same service and act as co-counsel for some of the other best OVI attorneys in the state when their clients have matters in NW Ohio. If this matters to, you make sure your attorney is really local and not a Cincinnati lawyer driving up to Columbus or a Cleveland lawyer driving over to Toledo. This was important to this client and the initial attorney was evasive when questioned, this raised red flags for the client, but he was scared and wanted to latch onto the first person with a good review who picked up the phone. After some additional time for reflection he made additional inquiries, then he contacted me, and I am so proud of the great result we were able to get. You are interviewing your potential lawyer, not the other way around, and just like it is important for you to be honest with them about your case, they need to be straightforward with you about where their community ties really are.
