Back in 1999 I bought a timeshare under the idea that it was going to be an investment that I can easily make a profit when I didnt need it anymore. Al least that was the impression the salesman gave me when I signed the contract. Long story short, the timeshare became a nightmare when the maintena...nce fees increased 400% from the time I bought it. I tried to sel the timeshare through different agencies just to be scammed by them. I placed an Advertisement to sell it and the only result was to receive calls from people that promised to me to sell it if I payed them an advance fee. My financial situation changed and I was not able to use the timeshare and neither pay the $1K annual maintenence fee. Navigating through the internet, I saw that Susan Budowski specialized in these cases and as my last resoruce I contacted her. To tell you the truth, I was skeptical. It took me and my family 3years of saving so that we could take a trip to Kissimmee Florida to visit Disneyland. On our second day their we met a woman at the Golden Corral Buffet. She told us that she could get us a discount and fast pass on Disney tickets. All we had to do was attend a 90 minuet pr...esentation of some sort. This presentation was to be held in the morning at Westgate Resorts. All we wanted to do was save a few bucks on tickets so we agreed. Next morning we arrived at the resort. Shortly after checking in at the front desk we were greeted by what I call a "saleswoman". Wow was she good. She was selling us a dream, she was so persistent and would not take no for an answer. It seemed like she had a great answer to all my doubts. In the end me and my wife singed a 5 figure contract with the resort. Later that evening I spoke to family members, read posts online, and educated myself on what I just did. I started to realize that I made a big mistake. Luckily for me, I found Budowski. She informed me that I had a 10 day period to cancel my contract. I talked to other lawyers in the area. One lawyer told me that he would take care of it for me, but this guy wanted to charge me almost 6 times more than Budowski. That was disgusting. Really taking advantage of a person in a tough situation, very wrong. I Understand that a law firm is a business but wow, just wow. So I hired Budowski. everything worked out great!! I got my full refund!! I got the cancellation conformation from the resort lawyers!! I felt an elimination of an awful burden. Shes a good lawyer and a great person. She always answered my questions and concerns same day. It was easy and most important she got the job done. I recommend her to anyone looking for legal assistance regarding their timeshare.
