Attorney Susan Budowski has restored my faith in lawyers. (At least her and other’s she would recommend anyways) I have presented my case to several lawyers only to get “you can’t win against them” for an answer. Even after showing evidence that seemed overwhelming in my favor, they still passed on... representing my wife and me. Susan looked at our case, gave us realistic expectation without guarantees. The lack of guarantee was a concern for us, but we both agreed that an honest evaluation was better than a false hope and another loss of income. None the less, after many conversations (mostly electronic via email, although several phone calls were involved as well) we proceeded and waited, to see what would happen. (One that note, I’m from Ohio, and as you should know, Susan is in Florida) Within a couple weeks we were given an update on our progress, who had been contacted, what the expected response time was going to be and what to expect next. To keep this review short(er), we did indeed get our issue resolved and our finances repaired and our lives back to normal. Our case – was won! Oh, that case - involved a poorly executed “upgrade” at a time-share where falsification of financials by the sales person (not the company) took place to qualify us for the upgrade. My wife magically had a job (she was in college full time – going back for a new career) and made more money than I did (not really – it was made up) and half of the cost of the upgrade was in her name based on that falsified financial information. The resolution was to return us to our original time-share value, with all financials corrected and debts cleared (from the upgrade) as if it had never happened. I’m sure you might be thinking what we were – “I just want out,” but that option would have been a deal breaker. Correcting the wrong was our compromise (as suggested by Susan), not getting out. I’m not sure what you need a lawyer for, but if Susan takes on your case, take on her suggestions! We have since returned to Susan to help us with another “normal” time-share issue and again, with the caveat that there are no promises, she has come to our aid for the second time and successfully aided in resolving some paperwork issues with another time-share. I really wish I could disclose just how much she has done for us in both cases, but those are under non-disclosure agreements, but the general detail should be enough for you to realize that she more than capable of resolving issues she states she can do. Believe us when she tells you she will not make a promise of something she can’t guarantee – but she will let you know if it’s possible, probable or not worth taking on. And that, was enough – and that – is what we decided to step out on; her word. But really, have you seen Susan’s credentials?? We still wonder how and why she took on our case, but we are definitely glad she did. Thanks Susan!! I hope your case comes to a successful resolution as ours did. But if not, I couldn’t imagine anyone that could/would work harder or more diligently for you than Susan Budowski.
