My husband and I and our 3 kids have been in this country for almost 20 years - after a couple of immigration processes and LONG waiting periods, our oldest daughter, my husband and I had finally gotten our residency… ours was a complex employment sponsorship case that had begun in Connecticut over 1...5 years ago, but suffice to say that finally, in these past 6 months, our two sons' turn to get their Green Cards had come due and to our immense shock USCIS sent us two different letters - one revoking the previously approved Green Card and the other outright denying it! On December 18, 2014 I had a hearing in the court of fort lauderdale, florida, in consequence of my expired driver's license. Without knowing it, before entering the court room, two ICE agents were waiting for me with a prison order, because I had a Removal order from many years ago. I was about 23 days held in "krome" in Miami. during those days in detention, I always communicated with Ms. Iara Morton through phone calls, and also, through its presence in Krome and always showing me how he was going to work. On January 15, 2015, I was finally released from Krome. I thank God for directing me Ms.Iara.
