Biography
I aggressively work to represent my clients. I am personally involved in every case and treat each one as if it were my own.
I am a former judge, and so have gained a unique and valuable perspective in the view from the bench, which provides a greatly expanded understanding of how to approach issues and be persuasive to the court.
I am called upon to help to train other attorneys and law professors, and was privileged to be invited to Washington, DC to testify before the U.S. Congress Judiciary Committee subcommittee regarding the foreclosure situation.
I am one of a very small group of attorneys in the U.S. who is deeply versed in mortgage and foreclosure law and who truly understands the mortgage servicing industry.
I was honored to be awarded Consumer Protection Attorney of the Year by the Consumer Protection Law Committee of the Florida Bar.
I have been widely quoted by national and local media concerning mortgage foreclosure and other consumer financial issues (Wall Street Journal, Washinton Post, National Mortgage News, Sun-Sentinel, Palm Beach Post).
There are many attorneys currently holding themselves out as foreclosure litigation attorneys, but sadly, few of them really know what I know. Because of my particular skill set, I have achieved many successful outcomes.

I haven't talked to this attorney. My major concern was about Real Estate law issue; zoning and grandfather clause also called non conforming and most of the Attorney from California has avoided the answer. Very sad. There are lawyers they knew what I was talking and even gave them a article about g...

Replied last September 18, 2014I am extremely puzzled by this comment. I do not practice in the area of zoning law. I do not practice in California or Kentucky. I go very far out of my way to be of assistance to people who ask for my help. Apparently in addition to being angry at me for reasons I know nothing about, this person is angry at most of the attorneys in California.... It is always frustrating to me when someone would rather be hostile and critical than constructive. However, since I have never represented this person or "handled his business matter" as he claims, have never spoken to him (as he admits), and have no idea what he is talking about above, I cannot respond further.

Can I go to jail or be fined?
Ms. Galant is the only lawyer that gave me concise, but thorough and complete in formation . She's awesome and I only wished she was closer in distance. I highly recommend her and her expertise!
