Barbara hit them with a Cease & Desist, she gave notice of intent, and notice of discovery preservation. Barbara knows exactly how these people ...lie cheat and steal. She knows what to demand and how to force them to turn it over. She knows all there little scams, and how to expose them. Extremely knowledgeable in the specific area of HOME/CONDO OWNER law. Barbara became furious with their lawyers nonsense , she put the city on notice and had them condemn the condotels parking garage ! When they retaliated against me (blocking the sale of my unit) for a slide presentation I gave to city counsel , Barbara told them " If you think my clients presentation was unfair wait til you hear from the reporters I have on speed dial" " now approve the sale and i'll cancel my television interview ". This women's real " Ballsy " . Ya gotta love her. She's the last thing a board , management co. etc.. want in their life. I've had top prominent criminal Lawyers : Joe Ballero of Boston, John Sutter of Nassau N.Y. and the great Ernie Peace of Suffolk N.Y. , and I rate Barbara Billiot Stage of Orlando performance of the same caliber. She's got that something that doesn't come with the degree, " genuine concern ". I love this women, I was being absurdly abused, she beat them down , kicked their ass's , made them do as we wanted, cost them a fortune and made them regret the day they tried to illegally evict me from my vacation condo on Christmas Eve with phony papers. I scoured the internet in search of a lawyer, I found Barbara on legal forums, answering questions with detailed comprehensive answers. Make no bones about it this women's all action , she started taking names right out of the gate, a depositions list, this women can audit all the paper work and with her experience and expertise locate the specifics of theft, and she'll hand her findings over to the State Attorney's Office for prosecution. I was most impressed with the manner for which Barbara came to practice this specific field of law, after law school she bought a condo and the board started abusing her. She understands and knows what these people do, not only was she not surprised but she enlightened me to the host of other nefarious dirty deeds that go hand in hand with what they were doing. What started out as miserable Christmas from hell, turned out being more fun then I've had in years once Barbara got on the case, I enjoyed Barbara's justice, watching them squirm and scramble , cry and pay out the ass, and they deserved it, they actually made the mistake of getting petty with her. When the City condemned their garage and wrapped it with orange tape and notices, I laughed my ass off and moon walked down A1A right in front of them. And you can't put a price on that. She's worth every dime ! , best money I ever spent ! Victory & Payback is priceless. If your in a position where a Board or management co, is doing you wrong, don't go to a " real estate closing " lawyer or some "all around practice " lawyer who knows nothing of the sordid dirty games played by these people. Condo boards and CAM management Co's. are out of control, lie - cheat & steal, harass and lie some more. They become " hubris " and must be dealt with by someone with explicit knowledge of their inner workings. I'm on your side, I like to see these people take a beating , I can vouch for the passion for which Barbara stood up for me and beat the hell out of the bastards.

Barbara has exhibited a wealth of knowledge with such a tentative attitude to guide us in helping us to get control of our village and those abusing it. If one didn’t know better, one would think she lived here with the zest of diligence she has shown. We feel she has always gone above and beyond w...hat was expected of her. We highly appreciate her zero tolerance policy towards those who violate our covenants. The enforcement level she has exhibited and community awareness she has given superseded our expectations.

If you live in a Florida retirement community as many of us retirees do and you are being denied your rights as a homeowner by your HOA, you need to be aware that there are two kinds of HOA attorneys who are available to represent you.
