Biography
Michele M. Bernard completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Central Florida where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Subsequently, she attended graduate school at the University of Central Florida where she earned her Master of Science in Criminal Justice.
After graduate school, Ms. Bernard pursued a Juris Doctor at the Florida A&M University College of Law. As a student, she served as a research assistant while simultaneously completing an Externship for Ninth Circuit Judge Jose R. Rodriguez. Ms. Bernard also served as the Chair of the Moot Court Board. Since her admission to The Florida Bar, she has developed her legal career in the areas of family and criminal law. She is also admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States.
Michele Bernard is an active member in the following professional associations: George C. Young Inns of Court, American Inns of Court, Central Florida Family Law Inns of Court, Orange County Bar Association.
Michele Bernard also serves as a Guardian ad Litem on behalf of children.
Ms. Bernard has experience representing clients in a myriad of domestic disputes, ranging from divorce to child custody and adoption and has represented defendants in an array of criminal matters. She has performed legal counsel assisting clients with title work on their real estate investments as a member of the Attorney’s Title Insurance Fund.

Avoid this lawyer
Spent more time trying to get my business and get paid than did resolving case. Case still not resolved. Quit responding. Had to get another lawyer to handle case. Non professional. Highly NOT recommended.

Replied last September 22, 2016I apologize that you feel you had a negative experience and no resolution was possible at the time, despite all the time I put into your matter. It was explained to you in-depth that we needed to be able to locate and serve the other party, which we were unable to locate since she relocated with no trace. Out of kindness and much to your delight, I generously offered you back 1/2 of the initial deposit you paid (even though I spent over two dozen hours on the case and did not charge you the fees spent on hiring a private investigator), which you accepted. I believe that if you would look at things from a higher perspective, you would be able to recognize that I went above and beyond in my duty to assist you and try to get a remedy.
