Biography
Kristen Marks is a Florida licensed Wills, Trusts & Estate Planning attorney. Kristen graduated from Dartmouth College in 1992 and then Magna Cum Laude from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1995. Shortly thereafter, she and her husband, Andrew, also an attorney, moved to the Pensacola, Florida, area to begin their law practices. Kristen began her legal career with a small Pensacola, Florida law firm for seven (7) years in the areas of Florida estate planning, probate and guardianship.
Then, in 2002, Kristen earned the privilege of becoming an Independent Sales Director with Mary Kay Cosmetics, a position earned by the Top 2% of consultants with the company. For the next six (6) years, Kristen focused on training and mentoring other women to build successful businesses for themselves. During that time, Kristen earned the use of and drove four (4) free company cars, including the famous Pink Cadillac for two (2) years.
In 2008, Kristen returned to practicing law, designing 'My Pink Lawyer®' to continue serving Florida women and their families with their estate planning needs. With her vast experience serving and mentoring women in the business world, Kristen now continues to serve successful, busy professional women in the legal world with their Florida life and legacy planning.
Kristen strongly advocates that designing a rich and meaningful future for yourself and your loved ones is the key to a successful life.
In her spare time, Kristen is avid reader of business, personal development and personal finance books. Kristen loves the beach, travelling abroad, and spending time with her husband and two college aged kids.
Kristen has run four ultra trail marathons (50K distance--34 miles) and has registered for two 50 mile trail races for later this year to bookend her 50th birthday!
