My civil litigation practice is focused on construction litigation and construction lien law. Areas of practice also include land use, administrative law and property rights issues, as well as general contractual matters. I am a certified circuit civil mediator, and available to serve as an arbitrator.

I earned my undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in 1999 and my Juris Doctor from Loyola New Orleans School of Law in 2003. I am licensed to practice in Florida and Louisiana.

I recieved multiple recognitions consecutively every year as a “Rising Star” by Florida Super Lawyers magazine, a designation awarded to no more than 2.5% of the lawyers statewide.

Five Stars is NOT enough!

We had a very complex series of construction issues that culminated in the successful discharge of a fraudulent lein, firing/replacing incompetant/unscrupulous general contractor, and finally defending against a frivolous lawsuit. Our new home construction was a nightmare; Mr. Hatler was the lone bright spot and is an excellent person to have in your corner! I rely on him as a sounding board and trust his instincts and abilities at all levels. Fives stars is not enough! He deserves Ten Plus!!!
