Great family law attorney

Attorney Nusser helped me with a complicated divorce/child custody case plagued with jurisdiction issues, a narcissistic husband and domestic violence issues. He represented me with the utmost integrity and kept me informed through the whole process. He answered my questions and “held my hand” throug...h my prep and hearing. His paralegal Meredith is also fantastic as well. I highly recommend his firm for your family law needs.

Great No BS Lawyer!

I am an active duty member who was dealing with needing to relocate and my sons father wanting to fight the move. Tim was very profesional and kept things real with me, he had a very no BS attitude which I appreciate in a lawyer and he was amazing in court and at our deposition. I highly recommend hi...m!

Highly recommend! Very professional and a god send!

Mr. Nusser and his staff have been absolutely amazing during my court issues. We had a very complicated case regarding a past divorce and child support which then led to an adoption. His staff and himself have been on top of everything and treated me like family. Would give advice when needed and sti...ll allow me to make my own decisions, but would also step in when he did not agree with them to show me why. He fought for everything that I asked and was just overall a god send in my case. I highly recommend him!!!

Would Not Recommend

Retaining Mr. Nusser as my divorce attorney is a decision I regret. Mr. Nusser verbally explained the divorce process including a $3,000 "minimum fee" & an additional $1,500 cost deposit. I was lead to believe the $3,000 would cover an uncontested divorce & the $1,500 would be used to cover any exp...enses over the $3,000 if we had to go to court. I cancelled my divorce. I was expecting a full refund of the $1,500 & believed the filing fees were to be deducted from the $3,000 "minimum fee". Instead I was only refunded the $1,500 LESS fees of $427. Mr. Nusser is maintaining keeping the $3,000 & deducting expenses from the $1,500 is what the contract allowed him to do. I believed the costs incurred were going to be deducted from the $3,000 "minimum fee". I feel Mr. Nusser misrepresented this to me & owes me the total refund of $1,500. Mr. Nusser has refused to settle this issue in a manner satisfactory to me. I would not recommend his services to anyone in the future.

No attorney wishes to have a disagreement over fees with a client. There is no reason that a client of mine should ever need to rely upon their memory of a verbal explanation as this former client complains because all of my clients execute and receive a written fee agreement that uses plain language. Furthermore, the amount of the minimum fee and cost deposit is in bold print.

My experience with Mr. Tim Nusser for my Dissolution of Marriage was very positive. Tim is absolutely the best ! Easy to talk to and very professional. He took the time to listen to me and explain things in detail. He is a great lawyer. Tim and his staff respond to your questions, with a very fast r...esponse. He is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond. It was a long drawn out DOM and Tim was focused all the way to the end, and we had great results !
