Crystal Collins Spencer

I am honored to write a review for Crystal Collins Spencer, Attorney at Law. I hired Mrs. Spencer to represent me in a lengthy and complicated custody modification case, filed several years after my initial divorce. At the time of our first meeting, I was emotionally devastated, frightened, and very overwhelmed. Mrs. Spencer’s calmness, confidence, and obvious competence immediately put me at ease, and after hearing her take on my case and sensing her desire for justice and awareness of the law, I knew I had the right person to stand beside me and fight for me and my children. And fight she has! Mrs. Spencer is an absolute warrior in the courtroom, and the work she and her team (who I fondly refer to as Crystal’s angels) have put into my case has been staggering. Though she is a very successful attorney with a busy practice, whenever anything in my case has arisen, I have always felt that I had Mrs. Spencer and her teams’ undivided attention. I cannot say enough kind words about Mrs. Spencer and her team. I am forever grateful for what they have done for me and my family.

Mine was a child custody case. My ex-girlfriend fled the state, while pregnant with our child, after threatening abortion and adoption, to pursue a relationship with her boyfriend in Florida, and her plan was to completely exclude me from my daughter's life, thinking that if she moved to Florida and I couldn't find her, I would not pursue any legal action. Thankfully a good friend of mine recommended Mrs. Spencer. Thanks to her I now have 50-50 custody and can be part of my daughter's life. Crystal is extremely knowledgeable, and an outstanding lawyer. She is also straight-forward and will not let you live with unrealistic expectations, whether you like it or not. While it was evident the opposing counsel preparation was moderate and was winging it as the trial went, Crystal spent the 4 days prior to the trial preparing (including a Saturday and a Sunday), reading every mail, cross checking every work schedule with daycare signing sheets, and her hard work was reflected at the trial. Her years of experience also showed up. When my ex-gf found herself against the ropes by her tough questions about her actions, she accused me of physically abusing her, but Crystal caught the lie and right away asked her several follow up questions (i.e. the circumstances, the date, etc), which she could not answer and exposed her lie. She is also surrounded by an outstanding staff, that works as hard as she does. While her services are expensive, she is worth every penny, and again, she is the only reason why I now have a great relationship with my wonderful girl.
