I am in the military. I was arrested at a DUI road block in Richmond County, GA in April of 2013 for driving under the influence less safe. I immediately contacted the Duncan Law Firm where I met Tiffani Duncan. She quickly eased my mind, processed all the paperwork to allow me to retain my driver's license, and answered all my questions. The rates were very reasonable and she allowed me to make payments on my balance throughout the entire process. Tiffany was able to negotiate a plea bargain from the prosecution for reckless driving. Based on my case and the poor evidence against me, I rejected the plea deal. She then was able to negotiate the plea down to reckless endangerment, which I also chose not to take. Tiffani was upfront and honest with me the entire time and thoroughly explained every single aspect of the charge, possible repercussions, defense strategies, and sound advice. I chose to take the case to trial. She brought in an field sobriety expert who was able to prove the field sobriety tests were conducted inadequately. She also showed important discrepancies between what the arresting officer did in the police video, what he wrote on his report, and what he testified to on the stand. The jury took less than 10 minutes to decide that I was not guilty. Her effort and expertise undoubtedly saved my reputation and career from imminent disaster. I did not have to take time off of work or come in to court unnecessarily; she took care of everything. Having never experienced anything like this ever before, she genuinely put my mind at ease and was there for me the entire time. She was always available if I had a question and was always extremely organized and prepared from the first time I came into her office until after the trial. I researched and talked to many other lawyers in and around the Augusta, GA area. The other lawyers did not give me as straight and honest answers as Tiffini did. She is extremely knowledgeable, competent, and intelligent. At no time did I ever feel that she was trying to overcharge me or keep me uninformed.
