I represent start up companies to multi-national corporations with an emphasis on family businesses, hospitality companies (hotels, motels, franchisees, franchisors and franchise associations, restaurants), technology companies and health care companies. Representation includes, among other things, organizational matters, corporate governance, regulatory interactions, risk reduction, contracts, labor and employment matters and transition planning.

National health care practice includes professional negligence claims against internists, nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists, surgeons, cardiologists, pharmacists, anesthesiologists, nursing homes, personal care homes, and hospitals. I have also advised individuals and entities on matters relating to regulatory compliance before various licensing boards and compliance with federal and state regulations including but not limited to HIPAA, FCA, Stark, RAC, FERA, GINA, and whistleblower laws.

I have represented individuals, entities and governments in over 20 states for more than 20 years in high stakes litigation matters such as franchise disputes, intellectual property disputes, business fraud, labor and employment disputes, class actions, professional negligence cases, medical malpractice claims, breach of contract disputes, family business disputes, insurance coverage claims, premises liability claims, and catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases.

Over the years I have represented individuals and estates against trucking companies for catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. Most recently, I obtained a jury verdict in excess of $11-million dollars for a family that was severely injured when their car was rear-ended by a tractor trailer. I have also represented trucking companies in the Southeast in the defense of personal injury and death cases. Furthermore, I provide counsel to trucking companies regarding regulatory compliance.
