I live in Evans, Georgia. I have a grown daughter who is a school teacher in Columbia County, and my son is a bankruptcy lawyer here in Augusta. Some years ago I decided to focus on DUI defense, as I saw that many DUIs could be beaten or reduced by working the case hard and knowing DUI law inside and out. DUIs are very complicated, and it is an area in which I devote an overwhelming majority of my time as a defense lawyer. We work each case hard and look for every opportunity to get the case either dismissed or reduced. Additionally, we take cases to jury trial. The prosecutors know that we are not just negotiators or pleaders; that we will not stop short of a jury trial if we cannot get the desired result and our client wants a trial. DUI reduced to reckless driving
Jim Duncan did an amazing job! The case had everything the judge did not like, but he overcame it. Not only was the suspension time shortened, it will make a huge difference in insurance cost and future job opportunities. The Duncan Law Firm was very caring and kind to us.
