JOSEPH R. NEAL, JR., Esq. is an AV Preeminent Rated Georgia Trial Lawyer specializing in Catastrophic Injuries & Wrongful Death and represents clients all across the State of Georgia. Mr. Neal is the son of a trial lawyer, grew up around the law and the courts as a young man, began working in law firms at the age of 17, and has over 26 years of trial experience as lead counsel. Mr. Neal is the principal and founder of NEAL LAW, with offices in Atlanta & Augusta Georgia. Joe is the proud father of two wonderful children. Mr. Neal participates, writes, and speaks in local, state, regional, and national trial lawyer association seminars and publications. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the American Association for Justice, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the Southern Trial lawyers Association, and is a Fellow of the Melvin M. Belli Society, an international group of trial lawyers dedicated to excellence in advocacy. Joe is and has been licensed and a member in good standing by the State Bar of Georgia for over 26 consecutive years with no disciplinary history, and has been admitted to practice law in all state trial courts of the State of Georgia, the Court of Appeals of Georgia, and the Supreme Court of Georgia since 1993. After obtaining a $3,000,000 jury verdict for an injured laborer who was struck by a tractor trailer while riding his bicycle to work in a trucking wreck case in Federal Court in Anderson, South Carolina in 2007, Mr. Neal took and passed the bar examination in South Carolina in 2008, praticed there for three years, and was suspended due to personal issues involving his former wife and a female friend (not related to a client and not related to his law practice) in 2012. Mr. Neal moved his law firm headquarters to Atlanta thereafter in 2012 and no longer practices in South Carolina. Mr. Neal is very selective with the cases he takes, and when he takes your case, you become like a member of his family, and he fights to the death for you.
