I am a 33-year-old male who, in 2007, was sentenced to 5 years of probation (First Offender) for Possession of Meth in Douglas County, Douglasville, GA. Two years later, I was arrested again for Possession of Meth in Fulton County, Atlanta, GA, which violated my First Offender probation. This, amo...ngst other bogus allegations, caused the probation department to issue a "Petition for Adjudication of Guilt & Imposition of Sentence in First Offender Case." Since I was an Ohioan, my mother had no idea where to look for reliable, trustworthy representation that would keep my best interest in mind, but not be overwhelmingly expensive. Luckily, she was referred to Mr. Benjamin Davis. From the morning my mother sent him the retainer fee via Western Union, Mr. Davis approached my case methodically and carefully, one step at a time. He made sure I understood why he was taking the steps he took, how he planned on taking them, and also clarified any misconceptions or ideas about approaches that wouldn't work. When most attorneys are lackadaisical and blasé about their clients and their cases, Mr. Davis was very prudent and passionate. He was very skillful and knowledgeable. In fact, not only did he obtain an outcome better than we anticipated, but we learned a great deal throughout the course of the case. The three most important things that anyone can do, is: 1. Pay their Attorney, 2. Pay their Attorney, and 3. Communicate with their Attorney. If you don’t do #1 and #2, #3 will be a waste of time, and vice versa. I highly recommend Mr. Davis, and can assure you his representation, resources, and abilities will not disappoint you!

This Guy! Its sad after all these years that you are still treating people this way. These comments are right on point. He takes your money, then act like he is bigger than he really is. I hired him after I was arrested and locked up with another client of his that he did actually do some work for.... This guy literally pissed off my judge so bad that he was letting everything that the AD was saying get through the objections and even threatened to hold Mr Davis in Contempt of Court. I was literally convicted from his DUMBNESS. The judge actually proved a point by sending me to prison HOWEVER, left the door open(I think on purpose) for me to fight it and get out(which I did on my own). Mr Davis took my appeal money and literally submitted a undated witness list that could have reversed my conviction. Who does that? Who dont submit the discovery stamped from the DA with an appeal? On top of that, this guy would show up to court looking like he just left the club with days old shirts and clothes. The court officer literally thought that I was the attorney and not the client because of how he was dressed and how I was dressed. Its been some long long years of me having thoughts of reporting this guy however, I let it go. But, After reading these reviews, I had to share my story. Yes! I was a real Client, Yes, I was convicted! Yes, I was upset! Yes, I should have saved my money and went with a public defender. Yes, he could actually be a good attorney if he focused and treated the clients who money he takes with respect (yes, he stopped taking my calls and talked to me like he is the greatest and unTouchable) People, Dont pick this guy. Ben, You need to give some of these people some money back before you end up in a situation.

RUN!! Take your money else where!! All those good reviews are fake. Mr. Davis will take your money and you will not hear from him or when you call he talks to you like you crazy or like you should not call him to ask questions. He will not update you on anything pertaining to your case. HE promises a...ll his clients a win but don't do the work. This is against Georgia Bar rules.He gets your money and then He acts as if he don’t work for you . He does not communicate with his clients or defend them..He needs to be disbarred. He will sell your love one to the state for a conviction if the price is right. You have been WARNED!! Read his contract it's a set up. Even if you fire him you are required to pay him. Crazy right?!

Mr. Davis is a very confident attorney. He does believe that he can win any case. He talks a very good game, especially before you hire him. He handled a drug case for me and I was unhappy with the outcome. He always insinuated that what he was explaining was easily understood and he also got angry... when he was asked questions or being called "too much." His energy had changed once he had been hired. There was poor communication with myself and also the contact person for this case. He never let me know about a plea deal until I asked him after 12 months of being incarcerated. He advised me not to take a plea deal of 15 do 3 because he was sure that he would win at trial. He never gave me a discovery of my case. Unfortunately we went to trial and lost. He didnt fight for me like he was paid to do. I shouldve listen to my instict and took the plea deal.

I hired him to represent my child, he told us that he was going to win this case. He didnt tell us about the plea deal until the day of the trail during recession. He tols us that we were offered 15 yrs do 8 but he said he didnt tell us because he didnt want us to take it because he was going to beat... it. We ended up with 25 years. he was rude to the judge and I think it hurt our case
