Over three years ago I was arrested for my third DUI this time with an accident. I hired Howard and Ben two years ago when it came up for trial. They were incredible. They told me that this was not going to be easy and made no promises of a great resolution. They told me some things that I could do t...o improve my chances. One of these was wearing a ankle monitor, which I wore for a year. I took all the classes/treatment/AA meetings they suggested. When it finally came up for court, the prosecutor reduced the DUI to reckless driving, no jail, no suspended license, a fine, a list of classes (which thanks to Howard and Ben, I've already done) and 1 year probation. I was arrested in February 2013 on suspicion of DUI and possession of Marijuana. I did not consent to a breathalyzer test when arrested. This not being the first time I had been arrested for DUI, I knew I had to find a great lawyer to defend my rights. This was very important as I have to drive a good distance to get to and from work. When my day in court arrived Ben was able to reach a plea agreement with the prosecutor and reduced my DUI to wreckless driving. As this would have a 2nd DUI, Ben's negotiations may have saved my job and relieved a great strain on my marriage! I had to do 1 weekend in jail and 1 year of supervised probation, which I am gladly in the process of completing.
