Truly a Great Lawyer! Best of the best!!

I have never had any legal trouble before so getting my DUI-drugs (marijuana) was a very big deal to me. A few weeks after my arrest and after consulting with approximately 4-5 lawyers, I knew I wanted Cory Yager as my lawyer to represent me in court. From the very beginning, he was very professional and I could tell he knew his stuff. Not only was he a former police officer, but he was certified to teach other police officers how to do proper DUI's. As my lawyer, he recommended we try and get a plea with the prosecutors and get it lowered from DUI-drugs to reckless driving. But I guess the state believed they had a strong enough case and did not want to budge. However, Cory thought otherwise. He was very confident throughout the entire process in my case, though he was also realistic and did not only tell me what I wanted to hear. So we took my case to a jury trial. Leading up to the trial, I was so nervous because I knew this was going to be decided by a jury from a very conservative county (Cherokee County). However, when my trial started, I immediately remembered why I picked Cory in the first place. His knowledge of DUI procedure was astonishing. He made the arresting officer (officer of 15 yrs) look like he just joined the force. He also recommended we bring in two experts (Georgia State Trooper and a blood expert) that he knew personally and assured me they would help our case. He was RIGHT again! Every decision he helped me make throughout this entire process worked! After 2 days in trial, the jury deliberated for TEN MINUTES and came out with their NOT-GUILTY verdict. I was so relieved. I immediately looked at Cory and told him how grateful I was. I thanked him repeatedly because I knew it was because of him that I was found not guilty. I will now recommend Cory to any and all my friends/family that ever need a DUI lawyer. He is truly remarkable. Thank you again Cory.

Absolute Best DUI Attorney in GA

Cory Yager is hands down the best DUI attorney in Georgia- my case was a mess to say the least. I blew a .318 upon getting arrested for my first DUI offense and Mr. Yager was able to obtain a non-DUI disposition in my matter. Not only does Mr. Yager know the law like the back of his hand, he also pays close attention to the details of each client’s case and perfectly tailors the case for the benefit of the client. I can’t say enough great things about Mr. Yager’s legal services- highly recommend!!!

Confidence with Cory in your corner

I had success working with Larry Kohn and Bubba Head in the past, and after managing to get arrested for 3 duis in a matter of months, I thought my life was over. I was introduced to Cory, and he was willing to take on all 3 of my cases. He gave me sound advice on everything to complete to lesson the blow of the punishment when we went to court. Having been a police officer, and now a very knowledgeable and respected lawyer, I was very relieved to have him on my side every time that we went to court. He is extremely well connected and liked. My result - I ended up with no felonies, and even one reduced to reckless driving. But something extra that I want to point out about Cory. I believe that he actually cared about my well-being and wanted to see me do well in life. 3rd Dui Case

I was charged with my 3rd DUI within 10 years. Mr Corey Yager fought relentlessly for many months and got my Dui charge reduced to reckless! and following too close ticket was tossed out too.

Awesome Outcome

Amazing Lawyer!!

Hardworking Attorney provided resolution for High Profile case

As a Federal Employee working in a highly political environment and sensitive security situation, I would highly recommend Cory Yager as an attorney, especially for DUI and other traffic related offenses. Cory handled my case as a true professional, was able to delay the case until a good resolution came about, and even followed up with me to make sure all of my post-trial matters were attended to. I received a DUI charge one night while visiting family in Atlanta. The officer who pulled me over said he was following me but was not, in fact. Cory used this to build a case that led to a non-DUI disposition with the court, a rare outcome I witnessed first-hand when watching other defendants with sub-par attorneys. The Best Hands Down !

Magnificent!!!! My life and everything I have worked very hard for were on the line and there was no room for anything but the best . There may be a lot of reviews here but I'm speaking from a position where I was Two in Five DUI in "CHEROKEE COUNTY" a little over a month and a half from graduating my EMT /Paramedic course and next in line for a career in the fire service. Mr Yager and the staff at HTWW are "THE BAR" you don't get any higher than that .The state prosecutors were unwilling to negotiate with us at all in the beginning but Mr Yager's Knowledge, experience, and unwillingness to give up pushed us forward and won my case in motions trial. We didn't even use the expert witness we had on hand because he was so thorough he didn't need them! Lizz Holtz Mr Yager's paralegal was there for me at anytime to answer any and all questions I may Have had If Cory was Busy. I know my space is limited but someone out there may be in a position similar to mine . "You know what you stand to loose"! CORY IS SIMPLY THE BEST AT WHAT HE DOES! I WAS FACING SEVERAL CHARGES, WITH ONE OF THE MOST STRINGENT POLICE OFFICERS IN FULTON COUNTY. I WENT TO THE FIRM AND SAT DOWN WITH BUBBA INITIALLY. BUBBA ADVISED ME OF HIS RETAINER AND HE WAS VERY COGNIZANT OF MY BUDGET AT THE TIME SO, HE REFERRED ME TO HIS COLLEAGUE, CORY YAGER. Great presence in court. You do feel confident he has control of the situation. I can definitely recommend him. Good knowledge of the process and a good feel for the outcome ( though nothing is guaranteed ). Hard to contact before court but did eventually get to talk to assistant.

Got what I needed to keep job and drive!!!

I had called around for free consultations with a couple of lawyers. When I got to speak with Cory I knew then that he was the one to handle my case. He was very compassionate and asked a lot of questions about my arrest when we first talked on the phone. By the way this was late Saturday and he was out with his daughter. My court date was Monday. Though Cory could not be there because of prior case somewhere else, he got one of his colleagues to get my case reset so he could be there. Cory and his assistant Katie Miller walked me through the entire case, answering every question I had. I was able to get the plea I wanted, kept my license and my job. If you need a great lawyer Cory is the one to hire.

Absolutely Not Guilty!

Great personality and service with a smile! This being my first time ever needing representation, Atty Yager was very thorough in the way he worked with my case. He was able to walk me through the process and was very patient in keeping me informed of my rights and what my options were in the matter. I felt no pressure to agree to anything I wasn't comfortable or pleased with. He helped to make me feel less anxious during a period that, for me, caused me much anxiety. Corey was such a blessing to our family.

We would absolutely recommend Corey. I've never been arrested for anything and was wrongly accused of DUI. Our nightmare began in March 2010 and ended exactly one year later with absolutely nothing to haunt us, due to Corey's honest hard work and his tremendous amount of knowledge we received a "not guilty" verdict. I spent three weeks "interviewing" attorneys and leaving each office feeling hopeless. I feared I would always have to deal with this DUI charge, simply based on the fact that I didn't have $20K to hire an attorney to fight for me. Although, Corey's office wasn't on the cheaper end of the attorney's I met with - his fees were extremely reasonable and they worked with us on payment. After the long trial where Corey orchestrated himself with dignity and intelligence, as a friend, he hugged my husband and myself to congratulate us on our success. Excellent Attorney!

I could not have asked for a better attorney Cory! This was the first time I had ever been arrested so I had no idea what to expect. I was so scared and extremely nervous. I was also in shock and in disbelief. I could not believe that it happened to me, a DUI. This was the scariest situation I had ever experienced. From the first time I spoke to him on the phone, I knew he was the right choice. He took the time to speak with me and immediately made me feel comfortable. He listened to my concerns, answered all my questions, and took the time to explain all the options. He was knowledgeable, sharing with me his background as a police officer and 10 years of experience as an attorney specializing in DUI.
