Kellie Chappell Gonzalez, BA, MA, JD was one of the founding partner of Waters and Gonzalez and opened up Gonzalez Law Firm, PLLC which has been going strong for over ten years. In 2013 Gonzalez Law Firm, PLLC expanded to a second office in Greenville, NC. She started Gonzalez Law Firm, PLLC, which later became Capital to Coast Law Group. She primarily focuses in real estate, family law, wills, criminal and traffic.
Kellie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from North Carolina State University. She then went on to receive her Masters of Arts in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management from North Carolina State University.   Kellie is a graduate of North Carolina Central University School of Law. She received a diverse exposure to various venues of the legal system through her internships with Wake County District Attorney's Office, the North Carolina Attorney General's Office and the North Carolina Court of Appeals.Â
While in law school, Kellie was selected as a Senior Editor for the North Carolina Central Law Journal as well as winning a spot on the Moot Court Team. For her outstanding performance in the National Organization for Women's (NOW) 5th Annual Sojourner Truth Moot Court Competition she was awarded recognition for being a semi-finalist. The competition featured contestants from law schools throughout the United States. She also served as Secretary of the Student Bar Association.Â

Prior to entering her legal career she was employed at North Carolina State University and with the Town of Cary. Before opening her own practice, Kellie was an associate at a local law firm. Â

She is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, the Wake County Bar Association, the Tenth Judicial District and the Wake County Academy of Trial Lawyers. Â
