I have zealously fought for my clients in family law and domestic issues since being additted to the North Carolina State Bar in 2008. Since that time, my professional efforts have been devoted to becoming a excellent family law attorney, who is trusted by his clients to provide exceptional representation, while providing these services at reasonable fees.
In 2018, I was recognized by the North Carolina State Bar as a Board Certified Family Law Specialist. Presently, I am one of only four attorneys in Pitt County who hold this distinction.Â
I wanted to be an attorney from a very young age, and have worked towards this goal since my days in high school, where I graduated in the top ten percent of my graduating class, with honors. Throughout my collegiate tenure, I clerked at my local courthouse in New Castle, Pennsylvania during the summers to better understand the legal process. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from college with a major in business and a minor in political science, I began my life in North Carolina.Â
During law school, I clerked at two law firms, one in Harnett County and one in Wake County, interned at the North Carolina Court of Appeals, was a contributing member of law review, and participated in several moot court competitions, one of which my team won the regional competition, defeating teams from the University of Virginia, UNC, Duke, and Wake Forest, and two others at the national level, competing against schools from the most respected law schools in the country. After graduating law school in May 2008, at which time I also received my MBA, Magna Cum Laude, I moved to Greenville to begin my legal career, where I still pleasantly find myself to this day.
I am fortunate enough to have a supportive and exceptional wife, Kari, who I began dating in high school, married during the summer between college and law school, and cherish every day with. Kari and I are blessed with our three wonderful kids, Aly, Livi, and Chaynce. Our dog Jazzy, who we adopted a number of years ago, rounds out our family. We have enjoyed our years in Eastern North Carolina, and look forward to our continued involvment in this community.Â
