       Attorney Jones is a graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He came to North Carolina as a part of the Teach for America program in 1997. Mr. Jones taught 5th grade at Braswell Elementary School, in Rocky Mount, NC for three years. It was during this time as a classroom teacher that he began to see how he could combine his passion for protecting the rights of others and his love for law. In August 2000, he took the next step on the road to reaching his lifelong dream of becoming an attorney by attending North Carolina Central University School of Law.

        After receiving his law degree and being licensed to practice law in the state of North Carolina, Attorney Jones began working as an Assistant Public Defender in Durham County. The 4 years he spent as a Public Defender allowed him to see how people can become lost in the justice system and their lives ruined when they don't have passionate, professional, and experienced representation.

        When Attorney Jones established our Law Office in Durham, NC, it was his goal to create a law firm where all clients are informed about their rights, guided through complex legal issues, and protected from those who abuse the justice system.

Traffic Ticket
I had a traffic ticket from the summer and missed a court date. The courts wouldn't speak to me to plead my case. I found Attorney Jones online, he contacted me within 10 minutes of emailing him. Before hiring him as my lawyer he gave me the plan of action to handling my ticket. After being retained, he began working on my case right away. He accomplished everything on our action plan. He helped save my driving record, insurance rates, and additional court fees. He's amazing and I recommend him to anyone.

Attorney Jones is the BEST! He has helped me with several cases over the last 3 years. He is my go to attorney no matter how small or large the situation is. Kindness to a stranger

I’ve been knowing Mr. jones for a decade now. He’s help me with cases that others would of not help me with. He has made me feel like family he make sure that i was taken care of. Awesome to have in our corner!
My husband and I were on the receiving end of a bogus no-contact order. It was a very stressful time for us, and Kevin provided us with a calming voice of reason and understanding. He was always accessible by phone and email, which we appreciated. Kevin helped her navigate two court dates and got the charges dismissed with prejudice - we were THRILLED!!

License Restoration - Excellent Service: Resourceful and Efficient
My work schedule, and at one point, my financial status, made it difficult for me to follow through with court appearances/costs etc. when necessary. This caused a snowball effect for my license which was a challenge for me to resolve for several years. Kevin Jones was the only attorney that I reached out to online that responded immediately. It's difficult for me to talk on the phone at my job but he was always accessible AND responsive via email and text. I was able to pay online with flexible payment options, he didn't require any unnecessary face-to-face consultations or court appearances and he was able to resolve all of my issues quickly and with minimal extra fees. He also reminded me when there were tasks that I needed to complete in order for him to handle my cases on time. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. While I hope to not need an attorney again any time soon, I would definitely reach out to Kevin Jones again if I do.

I can't say enough positive things about Kevin E Jones!
I highly recommend Mr. Jones services to anyone who needs legal representation. He was very professional, compassionate, and proficient with my speeding/traffic cases. My license had been suspended for years, and I had multiple cases that I needed to handle before I could get my license back. I felt like the journey was going to be tough, and at times discouraging...but Mr. Jones proved that with great legal representation-anything is obtainable! Mr. Jones was definitely God sent and a ram in the thicket! Talk about on time! Mr. Jones was prompt, communicative, and thorough! although I was extremely nervous about how things would pan out, Mr. Jones assured me things would be handled and was always very honest. Although the time was short and prayerfully I won't need a lawyer again in Durham, I would hire him without a doubt!
