I called Mary on a Saturday after receiving a speeding ticket in NC. I was very nervous in this regarded, being from Europe and not familiar with these topics in the US. I naively paid an out of state speeding ticket, supposedly going 19 mph over in a 55mph zone. Due to Covid we were informed that we would not be able to appear in court to fight it and to just pay the ticket! We were assured that I wouldn't receive any points on my NC license. What they didn't tell m...e is that my license would be suspended for 30 days, forcing me to apply for a new license (in the middle of Covid with appointments at DMV 8 weeks out, in reality meaning a 3 month suspension) insurance points would increase our insurance by about 45% for 3 years! (There's nothing that could be done "after the fact" about this) I was hysterical...until I found Mary! From the moment she answered my call, until we appeared at my Hearing and she won my case for me, she was the epitome of compassion and straight forward legal information! She guided me through every single step with extraordinary legal expertise, but almost more importantly sincere care and concern for me! It was very stressful as the mail had delayed the initial Letter of Suspension, giving me only 4 days to find Mary and maneuver through the bureaucratic DMV system with gum graft surgery during this short time, as well. My Hearing request which should have arrived in two days (sent Priority Mail at Mary's guidance) took 22 days to arrive at DMV and 3 more days to process and post to my license!
