First Class Representation

I got my very first speeding ticket driving through Mecklenburg County, Virginia, which I quickly learned was not just a speeding ticket but a charge for reckless driving misdemeanor. A good friend put me in touch with Vanessa Hicks of The Gee Law Firm. From the start, Ms. Hicks was informative, e...mpathetic and ready to step in to get my summons resolved. When my case finally went before the court, Ms. Hicks effectively argued on my behalf and the judge downgraded my summons from a reckless driving charge to a simple speeding ticket with a small fine. I can't thank Ms. Hicks or The Gee Firm enough for their representation.

Great communication and smooth and easy tramsaction

My husband is a truck driver and he got a ticket in Virginia and we live in North Carolina. The ticket was for 11 over the posted speed which is careless.and reckless in Virginia. That charge would have ended his driving career. We called our attorney at home and she gave us Vanessa's number. I calle...d and Vanessa was quick to tell us what she could do for us and what it would cost us. We hired her 2 months before the actual court date and she made sure she kept in contact with us during that time. She was always positive and upbeat every time we spoke. She told me to expect her to call after court on the day our case went before the judge to let us know what had been done. She held true to what she said she would do and that afternoon she called. Vanessa had done for us exactly what she said she would do. Our court fines and cost were exactly what she said she thought they would be and her fees were not high at all. I hope we don't ever have a need for an attorney in VA again but if we do we will definitely be calling Vanessa again.

Upon contacting Attorney Hicks she expediently assessed my need, advised me how to retrieve documents she needed then got back with how she would proceed. Represented me in court and brought favorable results. Very grateful for the outcome.

Very helpful and prompt

I contacted Vanessa after my daughter received a speeding ticket in Virginia. We are from Pennsylvania and it was really scary because we didnt understand the law in Virginia and we were shocked that the charge was actually wreckless driving and the penalties were really steep. Vanessa was so helpful... and she had the charges reduced. We didnt even have to appear in court. Every time i contacted her with questions she got right back to me. She was very professional and she put my mind at ease with the whole process.
