Happy customer

Vanessa helped my teenage daughter who got a reckless driving ticket. We were worried about the fine, insurance increase and her license. Vanessa took care of everything! She kept me updated at all times and was available for all my questions. I highly recommend her!

Two Tickets

I hired Ms. Hicks to represent my son for two speeding tickets. She was awesome. Ms. Hicks got the charges reduced and she communicated with us during the entire process. The fee was affordable, I will recommend her firm and services to anyone in need.

Speeding Ticket

I recently received a speeding ticket on my way back from VA to NC. However, since I live in Raleigh, the inconvenience of driving to Brunswick/Emporia for a traffic violation on a Wednesday would be a hassle. As a result, I googled lawyers within that area. I found the Gee Law Firm, of which Vane...ssa is an associate. Surprisingly, of all of the letters I've received in the mail, she was not one of them. All in all, my experience with her was professional, courteous, and easy. Vanessa kept me up to date on everything, and she got my ticket reduced from an 80/70 to a non-moving infraction. If you need a traffic lawyer, she the lady to go to.

Traffic Violation

I called Vanessa and she promptly gave me legal advice and satisfactorily took care of my legal needs. I would highly recommend her to anyone else that needs traffic violation advice.

She was wonderful, Professional & Responsive

When I got a reckless driving ticket in VA this year I received 30 flyers in the mail. None were from Ms. Hicks; which is why I chose her. I found her on this site seeking a local attorney. When first spoke to her, among other things, she asked the officers name and then described him to me; I knew ...she we the right person. She is experienced in working with the local Emporia/Greensville Circuit Court and it showed in the quick disposition of my case following her appearance on my behalf. The ticket was reduced from reckless driving to Defective Equipment. No points to my license, 8 hours driving class (completed online) and a fine. Her fee was very reasonable and I closed the entire thing out for under $800 in total costs (class cost, court fees/fines and her fee) without having take time off from work to drive back from NJ to VA to manage this. Lesson learned on my part; and I would highly recommend Ms. Hicks.
