Awesome Lawyer

Mr. Sheldon has been such a blessing. He is knowledgeable, responsive, and very good at his job. He had my back during the hardest season of my life and never once seemed judgmental. I'm grateful for his service.

AWFUL

Maybe this man does some resemblance of his job if you hire him but as a public defender he was the ABSOLUTE WORST I’ve EVER come across!!! His office was called multiple times over a month before court, he refused to return a phone call, when he finally did, 4 days before our upcoming court case he ...was rude and unprofessional and at that point still hadn’t even got the file for the case, he didn’t know who the prosecutor was, and we were treated like the lowest piece of scum on earth by him. It was very clear he was working for the prosecution on this case which is a shame as that means he has ZERO morals. I get these court appointed attorneys shouldn’t have to put more work on the case than their client is, but when as a client you are trying to do anything you can to hopefully receive a better outcome and it’s just unfortunate you don’t have the funds to pay for a defense you shouldn’t have to worry the person that’s SUPPOSED to defend you is actually working for the prosecution. Just a quick glance at his reviews he appears he’d be a great lawyer but after this personal experience I wouldn’t hire this “lawyer” to get my dog outta the pound.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
