About me

My practice areas include domestic relations and personal injury litigation.  After graduating from law school, I clerked at the Virginia Beach Circuit Court for a year, and then moved to Richmond and began working at the law firm of Morris & Morris, a boutique litigation firm located in downtown Richmond.  At Morris & Morris, I tried numerous cases ranging from personal injury to products liability, from construction disputes to defamation cases.  I became a partner at Morris & Morris in 2005.

In March, 2007, I left Morris & Morris to form Bucci & Dix with Mark Dix.  Mark and I were classmates at the George Mason University School of Law.  Mark specializes in personal injury, domestic relations, traumatic brain injury, civil rights, discrimination, and labor and employment litigation.

We have been fortunate to grow rapidly, and now have 6 lawyers and a staff of 5 paralegals/legal secretaries.

I live in Chesterfield County with my wife, Melissa, and our two bulldogs, Bogart and Lola.

  • Mark J. Krudys

Some time ago, I referred a client to Scott. I ran into the client the other day and she spoke glowingly about Scott’s assistance. She described Scott as an attentive listener. She added that Scott was empathetic to her situation. She said that Scott offered her clear and practical advice for addressing her legal situation and that advice proved to be right on the money. She thanked me for referring her to Scott. I was not at all surprised by her strong praise of Scott as Scott has a reputation in the Richmond legal community as being a top-tier legal advocate.
