Andrew Meyer is a native of the Hampton Roads area who graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Philosophy. Andrew received his J.D. from the Appalachian School of Law in Grundy, Virginia. While at the Appalachian School of Law, Andrew was selected for Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges. While in law school, Andrew served as a clerk for the Portsmouth Circuit Court as well as a research assistant for the Legal Process Department at the Appalachian School of Law.

Prior to law school, Andrew was a financial advisor, a compliance officer, and a corporate recruiter.

Andrew is a member of the Virginia Bar Association, the Virginia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. Andrew also serves as a PBA Referral Attorney for the Southern States Police Benevolent Association.

Excellent Services

I hired Mr. Meyer for a work related incident and could not have been more satisfied with his services. He was knowledgeable with department grievance procedures and was very informative during each step of the way. It was reassuring to know that if I needed to call him, he was available 24/7. I never felt misled nor given false hope anytime during the process.

Personable and Knowledgeable Attorney

Andrew Meyer is an amazing attorney who is very thorough with his research while putting all parts of a case together. He was referred to me by a former teammate who had just finished law school and trusted him; and, I was thankful that she gave me his information. Mr. Meyer got all the details of my case and explained all that I should expect when we arrived in court. Once we were there, he was very professional in representing me and getting my case to a good end. I would definitely call on Mr. Meyer again if I ever needed assistance in a family legal matter.

Only lawyer that we will ever use

I am pleased to recommend Andy Meyer.

Andy Meyer is a good and competent attorney and I felt confident that he had my legal matters in his hands. I am pleased with the work he did for me on my case and would highly recommend him to others. I hope I never need him again but he will be my go-to-guy next time an inept and politically correct government agency takes on one of the few tenacious old school street cops left out there.
