Susan F. Fremit is aggressive, relentless, results-oriented and knowledgable. As the award-winning founder and highly respected principal criminal defense attorney at the Law Firm of Susan F. Fremit, P.C., Susan comes with an internationally established reputation from more than 30 years of combined Canadian and American experience, specializing in criminal law.
In 1991, Susan successfully founded, owned and operated the Law Firm of Susan F. Fremit, LL.B. in Ontario, Canada as the principal criminal defense lawyer. Over the course of a decade, Susan represented over 1,000 clients in a variety of serious criminal charges, including DUI, reckless driving, murder, and drug possession, distribution and trafficking. With a large majority of cases going to trial, Susan obtained significant experience in winning cases through trial preparation and research; developing arguments; acquiring expert witnesses; and discrediting Crown arguments, as well as police and witness testimony.
In 2008, Susan founded the Law Firm of Susan F. Fremit to provide a decade worth of Canadian legal expertise and criminal defense trial experience to clients charged with serious criminal offenses in Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, and Falls Church, Virginia. Four years later, Susan then transferred her practice to Spotsylvania, Virginia.
