Starting Day 1, Marina was very direct and deliberate with her services. After a quick consultation with her over the phone and providing her with a more thorough intake on my incident and background, she offered excellent guidance on what my steps should be leading up to my court date. Ms. Medvin was my representation in a recent DUI/DWI case where I refused to submit to a breathalyzer exam/sobriety check. I contacted Ms. Medvin on a referral. Marina is everything you could hope for in a lawyer. She's on top of her game, always punctual and follows through with everything she says. She never gives you unrealistic expectations, but because of the network she has built and the excellent rapport she's developed, she is able to produce the mos...t favorable outcome available to her clients. There was a warrant out for my arrest, in the midst of me being a newly hired employee. The original sentence was supposed to be 10 days in jail for Failure to Appear. Marina made a few calls and arranged for an officer she trusted to escort me to turn myself in—which should have been frightening. But the officer was an amazing gentleman, and treated me with dignity, kindness and respect. Because Marina had also made arrangements ahead of time with the prosecutor and other offices involved, I saw the inside lobby area of a correctional facility for less than 45 minutes before I was released. She took care of everything behind the scenes—all I had to do was show up in court about a month later. A ten day sentence was reduced to a $100 fine, and I missed exactly one day of work which I was able to apply sick leave for. Marina Medvin is an amazing, and more importantly an extremely respectable attorney who keeps you informed every step of the way, and eases any sense of uncertainty and the qualms that come with needing legal representation.
