I wish I never hired her.

I retained Stephanie for my uncontested divorce (no children, not a lot of assets). My ex and I were just fighting over 40k. Unfortunately, not only Stephanie was not able to gain control of the simplest divorce case, I ended up walking away with empty handed (literally $0) after spending 10 months i...n the court. I was charged 50k in attorney’s fees and walked away with empty handed, literally $0. My case got so complicated and out of hand that Stephanie asked me to bring a second lawyer on board. Stephanie wasted a lot of my money on unnecessary arguments instead of building a strategy to win my case. She released a piece of information without my consent when she was not obligated to share that document at the time and one mistake like that cost me 100k. I would look for an attorney who fights for a successful outcome versus just collecting her fees.

I am sorry the reviewer feels this way. Although I disagree with the reviewer’s comments about my representation, the rules of professional conduct for lawyers prevent me from discussing the facts in a public forum like this. While I would greatly appreciate if the false and misleading statements were removed, I nonetheless wish the reviewer well and hope that she finds peace.

honest and knowledgeable

I consulted Stephanie in regards to a custody case. She is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I call her the people's attorney. I've dealt with many other attorneys in the past and Stephanie is by far the most trust worthy. She stand by her work and won't let you down. Highly recommended.
