I had a tricky, high-speed reckless driving case in the toughest NOVA jurisdiction on reckless driving, Loudoun County. Not only that, on my day of court, little did I know that I was going up against the toughest Judge in the Loudoun County General Court. No jail time, no license suspension and no cruel and unusual punishments. Just the fine and free to walk out the doors of the courthouse. Ryan let me consider the offer and told me he would represent me for no additional fees if I wished to have the case continued and try again. I appreciated him not pressuring me into a decision. I accepted the offer. When I went before the judge, he stated that "Your lawyer represented you zealously today. Normally in a case like this, you would not be walking through the doors to leave the courthouse, but through the doors behind me for processing." Ryan specifically told me that he pushed all of his other cases to different dates just to focus on me that day which resonated with me in a positive way and truly made me feel as if he cared. Ryan asked me about my past and even talked to me about some common interests we had in cars. He asked me what else he could say about me to the judge that would present me in a positive light. He truly cared or at least showed that he did and it all went the extra mile. After waiting in the courtroom for a bit Ryan came to grab me and tell me that he personally typed up a narrative about me and about what he was going to present to the judge on my behalf. He came prepared and came to fight for me on this day and I felt solid about what the outcome might be. Scrolling to the end I walked out of there with a 400 dollar fine and a 5 day driving suspension... NO JAIL TIME.... NO LOSS OF LICENSE FOR 6 MONTHS and better yet the fine was no where near as high as I expected. I was over the hill with joy!
