I first learned about S&R Law through the mail I was receiving after being charged with THREE misdemeanors. I hired S&R law firm back in march due to a heavy reckless driving charge I received while driving on 495 through Alexandria. I got pulled over doing 95 in a 55 so I initially thought my life would be over. I was an out of state driver and had heard the horror stories of what Virginia does to people ...who speed. Mind you the prosecutor wanted 6 month driving suspension along with jail time and a 1000 dollar fine. Ryan even told me that if I was dissatisfied with the outcome he would appeal the case for me and defend me upstairs in higher district court free of charge! He took my case very seriously and seemed confident this was the right decision to make. Ryan specifically told me that he pushed all of his other cases to different dates just to focus on me that day which resonated with me in a positive way and truly made me feel as if he cared. Ryan asked me about my past and even talked to me about some common interests we had in cars. He asked me what else he could say about me to the judge that would present me in a positive light. He truly cared or at least showed that he did and it all went the extra mile. After waiting in the courtroom for a bit Ryan came to grab me and tell me that he personally typed up a narrative about me and about what he was going to present to the judge on my behalf. He came prepared and came to fight for me on this day and I felt solid about what the outcome might be. Once approaching the stand Ryan spoke about me in the best of ways for a solid 10 minutes and I truly think that made all the difference in my case. Scrolling to the end I walked out of there with a 400 dollar fine and a 5 day driving suspension... NO JAIL TIME.... NO LOSS OF LICENSE FOR 6 MONTHS and better yet the fine was no where near as high as I expected. I was over the hill with joy! Ryan walked me out talked to me about what just happened and was just as pleased as I was with the outcome. I truly feel that if he hadn't come as prepared as he did I would of been in jail for sure. He told me what would happen from this point on and then even walked me down the hall and explained how I could pay my fine from there. He deserves the biggest praise and I truly appreciate what not only he did but what the entire firm did for me.
