Larry Henry Bowen

I was referred to Mr. Bowen in the Spring of 2011 and he was my council during a divorce from a high conflict individual. From the first meeting he gave clear and concise guidance on the process, what I needed to do, and how to navigate the process successfully. He got me though the process quickly..., effectively, and at a reasonable cost. Even in the best of circumstances divorces are difficult and Mr. Bowen worked to get this difficult legal process over with as soon as possible so I could get on with my life. I have not complaints and would recommend him to anyone who needs a family lawyer.

Folks, I was referred to Larry from another very well known divorce lawyer. When I was looking for a divorce lawyer I was looking for a few key factors. The first being experience, the second being well known within family civil court and the third charging a fair rate and not charging for every emai...l, copy, fax, etc. Larry met my needs in all regards. Larry has been upfront about potential outcomes and has always been available to answer questions. He's very prompt on emails as well. We had one very positive outcome which I give him credit for. I have already recommended Larry to a friend who is contemplating divorce and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him again.

Larry came highly recommended to me by a co-worker. I was looking for someone who would help put my mind at ease and educate me with the intricacies of child custody and child support and all that entails. He was very prompt in answering my calls and sometimes it seemed like I was his only client because he was so well versed in the details of case. Unfortunately, I've spent more than my share in court and I've had experience and worked with over 6 attorneys in the past 12 years; divorce, custody, child protection services, you name it, I've seen it. I think I've lost count. I don't recommend it, but I've even represented myself on several occa...sions. If I had known Larry, I never would've tried. Larry is a rare find. He's smart. He's experienced and more than anything he has integrity. His strategy's aren't about maximizing his profit margin. Yes, he'll do what is best for you. Case in point, I went to one of the most prestigious firms in DC and they wanted a $25K retainer. I went with Larry and even though the odds were stacked against me, I followed his advice and we got an unbelievably favorable settlement for 10% of that cost.

Larry provided practical guidance. There are many opportunities to get "bogged" down in messy family matters but in the end what's best for everyone is to resolve things quickly, fairly and with minimal expense. I appreciated his candor and knowledge and in the end he proved himself right on many fro...nts.
