We had a very difficult situation involving our son that was mired in dispute and getting worse. To complicate matters it involved two countries and the attendant jurisdictional problems. Larry provided great counsel and was able to help us get the matter resolved and finalized. His no nonsense ad...vice and follow through were just what we needed to put this messy situation behind us. I would unhesitatingly recommend Larry to anyone going through a difficult legal family matter.

Unfortunately, I've spent more than my share in court and I've had experience and worked with over 6 attorneys in the past 12 years; divorce, custody, child protection services, you name it, I've seen it. I think I've lost count. I don't recommend it, but I've even represented myself on several occa...sions. If I had known Larry, I never would've tried. Larry is a rare find. He's smart. He's experienced and more than anything he has integrity. His strategy's aren't about maximizing his profit margin. Yes, he'll do what is best for you. Case in point, I went to one of the most prestigious firms in DC and they wanted a $25K retainer. I went with Larry and even though the odds were stacked against me, I followed his advice and we got an unbelievably favorable settlement for 10% of that cost.

Larry has represented other members of my family, and I recommended him to a close friend. He is the best. He always does everything in his power to keep costs low for you. He also takes the "counselor" part of "attorney and counselor at law" very seriously. Because I trust Larry, I always follow his... advice, and I have never been sorry that I did. Larry represented me in my separation and divorce, and twice since then when my ex tried to sue me for allegedly breaking the divorce agreement. My ex tried to sue me for custody of our children, I walked away with only paying my attorney's fees (ex wanted me to pay for his as well). Larry did say that the Judge should have made my ex pay my fees, but I was just happy that my ex didn't get me on any technicalities. I would certainly recommend Larry to anyone (and have) and if / when my ex sues me next, I look forward to having Larry represent me again.

Very good with my divorce, absolutely terrible second time, with my domestic support. Extended a very simple, very well documented $3,711 medical co-pays reimbursement for 2 years, to rake up about $15,000 in legal fees. I did all the work, getting all the insurance statements, and I put the files t...ogether to save money. And he did not even remind the judge that the party at fault should be responsible for all legal fees, which was his main job to do!!!! He refused to file for appeal, because "it was too complicated", but he continued to bill me after the case was closed, when I called for billing questions!!! I told him there is no more legal advice after the last day in court, I only called his office, not him, to clarify billing issues. I also refused his office's offer to file for garnishments, and did it myself to save money, but his office billings kept on going, and going. He charged me for conferring with another attorney, even though I specifically advised him i do not authorize any more charges. If he wanted to refer me to another attorney, having his receptionist giving me a name and a number, should not cost me over a $100.00!!!!! For two years, his only concern was delaying procedures to accumulate the fees, and not to expeditiously solve my case!
