Larry Henry Bowen

Folks, I was referred to Larry from another very well known divorce lawyer. When I was looking for a divorce lawyer I was looking for a few key factors. The first being experience, the second being well known within family civil court and the third charging a fair rate and not charging for every emai...l, copy, fax, etc. Larry met my needs in all regards. Larry has been upfront about potential outcomes and has always been available to answer questions. He's very prompt on emails as well. We had one very positive outcome which I give him credit for. I have already recommended Larry to a friend who is contemplating divorce and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him again.

Larry has represented other members of my family, and I recommended him to a close friend. He is the best. He always does everything in his power to keep costs low for you. He also takes the "counselor" part of "attorney and counselor at law" very seriously. Because I trust Larry, I always follow his... advice, and I have never been sorry that I did. Larry represented me in my separation and divorce, and twice since then when my ex tried to sue me for allegedly breaking the divorce agreement. My ex tried to sue me for custody of our children, I walked away with only paying my attorney's fees (ex wanted me to pay for his as well). Larry did say that the Judge should have made my ex pay my fees, but I was just happy that my ex didn't get me on any technicalities. I would certainly recommend Larry to anyone (and have) and if / when my ex sues me next, I look forward to having Larry represent me again.

Larry is the best. He is experienced, understanding, available (always quickly returned my calls) and was exactly who I needed for my divorce. Recently, I returned to Larry to prepare a prenuptial agreement. Thanks to his help, I now have the peace of mind to remarry without concerns of the potential consequences of a future divorce.

I have worked with Larry a couple of times (the first time was to handle my divorce). And both times I was very satisfied with the results. He is friendly, he takes an interest in your life, and from time to time he offers emotional support and advice. (Anyone going through a divorce knows what I'm t...alking about.) Most importantly, he cuts through the BS--and will explain the difference between how the law works in theory and how things typically work in practice. He will suggest simple and practical shortcuts for getting what you want--even if it costs him legal fees. As for fees, yes (as other reviewers have mentioned) all lawyers are expensive, but Larry always gave me excellent value. In one complex pension-related process, I know for a fact that he got the job done for many thousands less than what other lawyers were requesting.
