My employment law experience began through defending employers and insurance companies in employment law matters. I am presently representing employees exclusively. Having worked for both employees and employers has helped both me and my clients tremendously.
I enjoy working on employment law cases and helping employees who have suffered discrimination and retaliation. Employment law protections are part of the Civil Rights Act. And to that end, I see my work as a continuation of the work laid down by other civil rights wokers and attorneys.

Not Your Typical Lawyer
I had been looking for a lawyer that would take the time to hear my plea and see that I deserved justice for workplace related issues for some time with no success until I found AJ. I spoke with some lawyers who listened, but I was not so confident in their abilities. I could tell within the first fe...

Be sure he is on your side.
I just completed my dealings with A.J. He is focused, brilliant (knows the law from A-Z), and practical. He does not back down in negotiations and will defend a case he believes in to the full extent of his ability. As far as I am concerned, he is the best.

Unprofessional Conduct and Case Mishandling
I had an extremely disappointing experience with attorney AJ Dhali. Despite promising to handle my case effectively, he demonstrated a severe lack of communication, professionalism, and follow-through. He consistently ignored my calls and emails, leaving me uninformed about the status of my case, and...
I was the second attorney to withdraw from this client's case. We sought a court order and court permission to withdraw from the client's case. The court granted our request to withdraw as the client's attorney. We never ignored her emails or mishandled her case. The client believed that the client, knew the law more than us. The client can now raise her "own legal theories" with the judge. We wish this client all the best.
"A.J. is a passionate advocate for employees in discrimination matters. I highly recommend his firm's services. We serve as Membership Chairs for the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyer's Association."
"Passionate civil rights advocate. Ethical and hard working, he will fight for you to the end to achieve a favorable result."
