Mr. Hoen is the owner of Hampton Injury Law PLC. Following military service, he attended Roanoke College and went to law school at the University of Richmond. He then served as Clerk to the Chief Justice of the Court of Appeals of Virginia. He has been a trial lawyer throughout his career, specializing in injury cases - including medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, premises and product liability, dog bites, and worker’s compensation, among others.

Mr. Hoen is licensed to practice in all state courts of the Commonwealth and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Wonderful Lawyer
I have used Mr. Hoen's services on two occasions, and on both occasions his services were superb! He was able anytime I needed, and always eager to answer any questions I had. He also was very compassionate towards my situation, and always made sure I was doing well before/after my case.

Justice Is Served...
After months and months of frustration attempting to handle the logistics of my husband's workers compensation case we sought legal counsel from Mr Hoen's firm. Mr. Hoen and his staff has always shown the proper concern and professionalism with every aspect of my case. He has even gone as far as to communicate with me while he was at home or out on holiday. An attorney that is easy to talk to.
Although I have hired Mr. Hoen to handle a legal matter for me personally in the past, I most often work with him through my patients. I have had many opportunities to see how he handled issue that arise for my patients when they have been involved in motor vehicle accidents. And, although he is always professional and by many measures an excellent litigator, I feel one of his greatest strengths is in his communication to his clients. Mr. Hoen will not talk down to his clients, barrage them with legal-eze, or leave them without a good understanding of their position. Should a patient or I ever need to get a hold of him, and that is rare, it is never a problem. I can recommend him without hesitation.
